_initially_ they said it would be "additional 12 levels", you can check that in Fall roadmap video. But now they've double backed and willing only to make one, +20% promotion thingy. Oh, ok. So it's like a 13th level Thanks! I read this differently. To me it implied that when they released new content it was intended that the new hotness would be 20% better than current gear. If you look at the individual characteristics (health, damage, speed) 20% better is broadly accurate. Unfortunately they don’t seem to grasp that making each attribute 20% better results in a bot that’s quite a bit more than 20% better. The MKII thing hasn’t been implemented yet.

They have now said explicitly they will work in a way to convert WSP and gold to components and also give components away as league rewards / some other league dependent system. They hit exactly the right point with their mistake here - releasing the components system without any way to really get them except purchase for cash (either direct or BM). I think they will be scrambling to do this asap as they realise they have really screwed up by the reaction. Given all the public noise (that is bad for Mail.ru too since investors, analysts tracking the stock can see this and follow the metrics) they will not be able to wait long to roll this fix out. DON'T BLOW ALL YOUR GOLD AND WSP ON HYDRAS AND DESTRIER SKINS JUST YET

Yeah when I read the conversions, I thought....「dookie」 better save the 42k gold and 10k WSP.
Hope the conversion works 2:1 (in their favor) so 40000 gold = 20000 components and hopefully 1:1 in WSP.

Leave. If you just hate it so much, and Pixonic so much - leave. Same as all the people whining about how bad America is - leave.
No, I haven't been here long. No, I don't want to piss off the whole forum and all the vets (most seem helpful and civil) - but for crying out loud (or, at least electronically) - it's a game. A company should NEVER listen to internet trolls. Vote with your wallet - and go. Or write them directly. Nobody wants to hear you 「female dog」.
So...Tank on down to Gold II, and come get me. It'll be more fun than reading a flame thread.

Please point out where the trolling is. You can't curse, it replaces the words. Are you trying to say that telling someone to tank is somehow tantamount to cheating? That's quite a stretch. I admire your mental yoga powers.

I don't understand this... does it mean "per promotion" or 20% increase after 12 promotions? Translation please Arakos _initially_ they said it would be "additional 12 levels", you can check that in Fall roadmap video. But now they've double backed and willing only to make one, +20% promotion thingy. That's a weird move by a greedy company, they can make it 12 levels in order to squeeze the last piece of silver you have.

Just rename themselves to Pigonic and it will be ok.
That reply is very vague and dishonest.I don't care for the dash bots, but to pretend that they wernt Greedy and they cared for feedback was what made them a joke.If they really cared, they would not have done 3.2 in the first place.

Well, read my other posts. There aren't many; and you'll find nothing objectionable. Anyone that quick to stick an unknown on an ignore list, I probably don't care to talk to. The thin-skinned are hard to converse with.
Anyway - no hard feeling enjoy your roboting.

The problem is that there is no easy solution for this. The most important insult is that new bots/weapons are OP and not accessible to players, unless they'll pay insane amount of money. So it's very nice that they're adding new stuff, but I will get my first Ember in 2019, so I cannot really say I'm happy with that. Not to mention Haechi, who is so overpowered, that no other robot can compete him. However, if K-bots and stuff will be nerfed and accessible to everyone, "whales" will be angry. And if I would spent 300$ on a Haechi, I would be angry that after two weeks it's worthless. That would be just stealing. So, now, what should Pixonic do? There is no right solution. But remember, that whales spent a great deal of money, not you. I just don't believe that K-bots and stuff will be ever accessible to normal players. When I finally get my Haechi, there'll be thousands of new OP bots. Well, I've said this in other posts but... to make everyone a tad bit happier, they could just GIVE, yes I said "GIVE" everyone one free dash. Or at least make a limit of ONE easily accessible through playing/grinding. The free players could at least have one in thier hangar to have fun piloting and battle other dashes with and the paying players would just get an extra one. I couldn't see anyone complaining if this happened. that makes sense form a player perspective, but not a money perspective. i doubt this will ever happen, but if you want something similar, star wars galaxy of heroes gives out their premium currency, crystals, when they fix some issue people didnt like.

Rhino, Galahad, Golem with ECU - everything goes well against Trebuchet-Gekko-Hydra. And every time I hear "someone can deal damage from long range where he couldn't be touched" I recall my Spring experience. I met and Ancilot. Magnum couldn't touch it due to armour, rockets couldn't damage it due to Ancile.. Guess what people said when I suggested it's freaking cheating? "Haha, stop whining, you are slacker, get yourself one and you will be honorable pilot". That's exactly the same situation. I WANT to be able to destroy Ancilot close range with Trebuchet Butch, but I can't. It's actually hilarious to see. Same goes about Hydra. Get a Thunder Carnage vs Hydra Fujin, and let's talk about "overpowered". Fujin won't live long enough to release 6 hydra missiles. Everything is "overpowered" in its own way. However due to some _strange_ reasons War Robots is perceived as a "close range shooter", and people really getting upset when something other than 350m can damage enemy bot (remember RDB rant or recent Zeus rant); and they think for some _strange_ reasons that ANY knife fighter should be able to take out ANY long range fighter. Honestly, how many salvos Trebuchet Butch could land at your bot at Yama? Three? And if you are in Rhino then two, probably. So in a duel when one side could only shoot _twice_ shots should be really painful, otherwise, it's just a decoration and not a weapon. P.s. and I wanted to point out that using Lancelot against sniper is a really bad idea. If you are open to discussion I can give you some advice to take them out with ZERO gold or $$ spent. If you just love CQC and think sniping should be out of game - play Beacon Rush, snipers are rare in those mode. The real sign that trebs and gekkos are OP, imo, is that where a year ago you might see one or two treb bots on your team on Yama, which seems about right, now you sometimes see FIVE treb or gekko bots and the start of the match. Treb was probably slightly underpowered a year ago, but imo it's now probably slightly too strong but not horrbily OP. Its power is balanced fairly well by the long charge time between full-power shots, which gives opponents a chance to reposition and time movements. I personally think the gekkos are more OP. You used to hardly ever see them, which was a good sign they were underpowered. But imo, the repeated buffs and the change in dynamic so that they now do full damage from the start instead of requiring time on target to "heat up", has made them pretty devastating for anything without a physical shield. Heck, even with a physical shield. I've had my Lancelot shield destroyed pretty darn quickly by two gekko bots targeting me simultaneously. I also think tarans and orkans have been buffed too much too. Tarans can almost eat through shields like butter now. And speed and jumping both used to be defenses against orkans, but now neither is because of the changes to the orkan dynamics. if you have five snipers on your team on any map, even yama, you will lose. how will they cap? how will they survive if the enemy can use cover or has a phyical shield? snipers are just that, snipers. without a good attack force they cannot win.

Well after I made that post I was thinking about other alternatives and I think the better idea would be to increase the # of keys players get from grinding (maybe like 5-10 a game instead of 1-5) The problem with this though, is that it could lead to lower quality gameplay with players "settling" for the 5 every game by either straight ditching or trying to mech out early to start a BR game. As far as from a business standpoint, I couldn't see it hurting really. It will be a small step in the right direction to try to gain back some of the faithful, casual spenders and look a lot better to new players. As far as the whales and other paying players are concerned, they are going to spend what they are going to spend. If they end up grinding out a dash or even if they are GIVEN one, i don't see it effecting their decision to buy a second, or third, on up until they have a full hangar Haechis. Even then, they'd need Ag & Au to upgrade them. It's just one check on a list and they will still buy the rest.

While I hate getting my newly-upgraded favorite bot burned down by 7 Gekkos in the first 30 seconds of the match as the next guy....I try not to complain too much, even in my head, about any of the weapons. They'd all exist in this setting. Why wouldn't they be used? What are you going to do when they add drones, and landmines? The game will evolve, so will your tactics.
And sometimes - you'll just get your ?bum-bum? shot off. Go to the next bot. Go to the next match.

We came up with a better idea to nerf K-bots indirectly and make everyone happy. If you kill some "component" bot - you will be rewarded 500 components worth of it. Say you want a Haechi - hunt them down! You kill 20 Haechis - you get enough components to make your own!
Same with Ember-Inquisitor and stuff.

The clans would get together and take it in turns to arrange Kbot massacres. Sounds weird? They already do it to "fix" high scores. Unfortunately when we come up with a change, think of the worst possible scenario, and double it. Like "extreme tankers" who block their Blue team mates to make sure off the loss.

That doesn't sound weird at all. But you are, most probably, overlooking other ways of acquiring k-bots without paying some cash ;) The one where clans must align the battles to get some components sounds pretty fair to me. Remember, it could be ~10 components per kill, for example. Enough to incentivize hunting for k-bot instead of usual one, but not enough to keep on doing that in fixed battle

Speaking as a relativly new player, but one that has spent fair bit on this game in order to ' catch up' and be competative - (yes i am impatient) It feels like Pix have deliberatly devalued gold and is hanging on waiting for everyone with stockpiles to spend it on upgrades/skins etc. before they drop any way of converting gold to components If they wanted people to spend the Au stockpiles, they'd need to provide something of value to spend it on... But it appears the Au is now worth just it's Ag conversion ratio, and WSP is worthless. Even if they come up with some way to use WSP, you can bet it will not be available for free players.... How about filling up the bot currency after you have at least 5000 of the type, great saving opportunity, eh? ...but...but, now you can afford to buy skins. Sweet!

$225 for a Korean bot. Are they on crack? First Gold and Silver. Then WSP. Then IP. Now components...They need to get their ?poo-poo? together. I think if I could convert 10,000 WSP to 5,000 Components and a 1:1 ratio for gold it would be better. Still double the cost of a Lancelot or Fury but at least some conversion. They are indeed on crack
