I am frustrated with players disappearing from the action at the very start of the battle. Far too often one or two allies have simply winked out of existence in the early going ("so-and-so was destroyed"), leaving me to deal with a 4 vs 6 situation right from the start. What's going on here? Am I being paired up with players who have low-to-no damage output to compensate for my high damage output (I've usually got 2x or 3x the damage of the next guy)? There's a big difference between a bad player (who can absorb damage and serve as a distraction) and an empty slot - I can carry some dead weight but I can't have all the enemy fire coming at me.
This has happened the last half-dozen battles in a row. It is a significant disincentive to playing right now.

If you look at recent threads, you'll see why. Some players quit (usually *before* the start, but accidents happen) because they fear or don't like fighting on certain maps. Others quit because they fear or don't like fighting certain bots that they see. Poor reasons, I think, but I try not to judge.

Hi. My game was crashing far too often before the last update for war robots on iOS. Sometimes early in the battle, sometimes mid-battle. However it seems to be better lately, but still happens every now and then. I wish there was a permanent fix to this, I notice the crashes occurs sometimes when somone unloads full Pinata, Orkans or CRV-Pins that it also crash the game.
I know this happens to others as well. So that could be a reason too.

So that could be a reason too. I have noticed a good bit of server issues lately as well... I'm on Android. Lots of rubber banding of bots... several empty bots just standing there, etc. Oh sure there have always been some, but a lot more frequently encountered lately. So while it definitely can be people quitting... there have been a lot of lag issues too. Although, I think, that if you see the message Pilot BLahBlah destroyed... that they prolly left on purpose. Even then, if my game was super laggy, I'd leave the battle too... So yeah, not an easy call on this one.

Amen. I don't care if someone is shooting dead stick at spawn. Unless they're being decimated, one of the reds could very easily try and make their way there to take it out. Bullet magnet or distraction. Either will make it easier for the rest of us. I created a poll a little while ago (http://war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/92/) and, although it only has 8 participants, you can see that half of them are ready to quit the game for at least one reason as the game starts.

I would blame game stability issues first. Of course, if I see 3 Nats on my team, I punch out.

What a bad night of matches!! Fn B.S. - continuous matches of players doing nothing, 1 match had 3 - 0 Damage players! Probably 12-14 matches tonight, 8-10 bad player matches. 1 round player 1849 damage points. Another match had 5 beacons 400-500k damage, 2 other players each had 1. Other 3 0 beacons. Yamamoto / snow - tea party w 4/6. Other team finally all advanced on us - done.
Absolutely horrendous. Started night at 80-82% win rate. Now 62%.

I've seen nothing but unbalanced matches since the clan features update. Not only do peeps quit, but sometimes Pix doesn't even drop in a 6th.
I doubt it is any single cause, but rather, a result of a culmination of minor things all adding up. Which means there is no simple fix and is a sign of potential bad things going forward.

Had a rather interesting fight last night. I was playing on yamantau and we wound up 5 vs 3, me on the short side. The enemy team was all Natashas, but they still won because they all moved forward and were aggresive. I couldn't help but laugh at how entertaining it was. There is something a little scary about a thunder/magnum Natasha that's made it to your spawn unmolested.

I've seen a match or two like SoCal's. My favorite (didn't get any screen shots) was I was playing a hangar of 4 1/3 lights, sitting there during the countdown looking around at the other Destriers and Cossacks, and who drops in on my team right at the end of the countdown? TWO Griffins. MM FTW.

I believe those Avengers clan (=A=) guys in the screenshots above are using a recently introduced platooning exploit.
I've fought these guys many times as I farm at that level. I can wipe the floor with the squad leader, but the other guy is impossible to deal with.
