We do not need more robots...there are a lot...
We do not need more guns...(perhaps grenades, maybe)
We need more game modes and...new flying robots (ie. drones)...some really new!!!
A lot of players are going out of game, because new robots (latest very bad), new versions....nothing really new to the game.
Test server with things that not really helpfull to the game, stupid changes to the robots and guns...nothing really new...
I thing that the game is , for now, bored.
Get level 30 and you may think like me...all battles are the same, again, and again. And updates not usefull.

It might be helpful to remember that what you need <> what other people need. I, for one, have zero interest in "flying robots."
Also, can you source "a lot of players are going out of the game" with actual data?
I'm not trying to torpedo your entire thread, mind, just take some of the hyperbole out of it and get to the meat of the matter.

They need to add more ways to combat physical shields, and they DEFINITELY, without a doubt, NEED MORE GAME MODES!!!! |

I somewhat agree, they have too much going on at once. Protolot is long overdue.
Grenades are a great idea I 100% agree. I want bots with jet packs that last 20-30 seconds and can travel slightly longer than Griff jump.

TBH I think OP should have created this thread in the Rants section. Being in the General section usually means a lot of push-back against so much negativity.
Pixo has explicitly stated they will not be adding any kind of a flying robot, as do so would require all new maps.
And, really, the rest is ranting, so not a lot to work with. I will say, however, that if you have gotten this jaded about the game already, it's your own fault. I've been grinding my way slowly through mid Gold tier battles, and I *create* the variety I need in gameplay. Every battle is not the same to me, because I don't let it get that way. How you live and play is your choice, but I can understand the frustration when that choice is limited by the developers' poor design choices in turn.

This should be in the Rants section, much of this is mere opinion and not backed up by actual data. I know I am going to disagree with much of what you've said. I'm level 30, have been for probably a year, and am up in High Gold.
There won't be flying bots, it basically won't work with current maps or game design.
They are working on additional game modes. They are working on balance, and doing a decent job. Many people like myself like seeing new bots and weapons as long as they are balanced.

We do not need more robots...there are a lot... Any mobile game must grow to survive. New bots aren't needed, but they aren't going to make anything worse. We do not need more guns...(perhaps grenades, maybe) Yes we do need more guns. A medium long range weapon is sorely needed. They should have the stalker's ability make it immune to damage instead of not being targeted Hmmm like a stealth plane nb idea. A jetpack that would allow a bot to fly from say the bridge in Springfield to the area with a beacon and barnyard in one attempt would be ideal. When the jets turn off the not could literally drop down on the enemy like a paratrooper would be awesome. |

I've been level 30 for more than 8 months - I still find new things with the game when I choose to. If you are not finding new things with the game and it's gone stale, change your bot or wep line up....try something different like going up a tier. Join a clan. With all the changes coming next week, it is going to shake up the game....should provide new challenges in learning how to optimize with ELO instead of the current MM.
If you are a max player already in hi gold/platinum, then I don't know what to say to you except maybe you should take a break from the game. I know many folks who were burnt out, said they were going to take a month off, and after less than a week, came back and found a way to enjoy War Robots again.
It's a game and should be fun...if you are bored, move on.

It would maybe be that both decide who controls the bot, and the other uses another one of their bots. Also, if they could do that, could we have all the bots on both teams combining, switching, combining, switching, etc, until we have up to 30 combiner-like bots fighting. THAT would be awesome! |

It just seems like Pixonic is trying to make this a faster paced game. They want the rounds to end more quickly, for upgrades to be feel more bemoaningly required. It seems like they are trying to graduate War Robots as it is now into the next generation of mobile gaming - where players will spend more money on more things to feel competitive. After introducing faster guns, faster mechs and things that are just built on the idea of being fast (quickdraw), you can count on the game balancing to go haywire. You will see more gold players in silver and silver players in bronze.
It's that way because when things are moving fast you can feel like you have some hope of winning. That all you need is an edge to overcome. But it's just a hoax to get you to spend real money.

I think you may be reading more into it... if they wanted this to just be a money game it would not be where it is today. It is still very much a free to play game. And the new bots won't change that. The Camelot bots, as awesome as they are, didn't make all others useless... quickdraw bots definitely won't. Your MM predictions are ignoring 2 things. Speed has nothing to do with it, and the new MM is coming out soon. My advice: Sit back, relax, deeeeep breath, and kill some REDS! |

The only thing I took away from all of this is that we need more game modes, I am tired of CTF. You don't need new maps, you don't need new bots, you don't need new weapons to implement other game modes. Weapon/bot balance might become an issue but hey that hasn't stopped pix before and it adds variety to play.

Lol ok, domination it's still monotonous though imo. Just make a multiplier for the bots speed/health and weapon damage that changes for each mode, like faster bots for ctf or more powerful weps for last man standing.

Well, it's a shame to hear, but what keeps me coming back is the sheer VARIETY in the game.
Yes, I got a bit bored with my Heavies, so I built up my lights to have fun in Gold.
It's great fun running a plasma Gareth with L11weapons, and go Griff or Leo hunting.
Sure, if your always running maxed against the top Clans, your choice are a little limited, but below that pilots run the oddest setups just because they can.
Try CAMPING....hum, no scrap that, I didn't say that, that was someone else, move on, nothing to see here.

An offline mode would be nice. Like a single player campaign or an offline match with AI for people to farm silver (but not gold and daily tasks, that should be restricted to multiplayer) It should also increase the overall skill of the general player base
