The number of Cossacks I have popped in my time as a midrange bot pilot (first trident/pin Leo, then RDB griffin) numbers into the hundreds. Cossacks wreck when they are cornered? My PDB rhino disagrees lol Do you even play the same game as me? My role is literally to chew out the supports, and skirmish from corner to corner... ask any of my clan mates, because that's literally what I do. I haven't seen you in any of my matches. Sorry if I offended you a bit. It's just that every time a Cossack comes out in one of my matches, multiple ETC Kang Dae rounds from my team connect with its face and it's health gets cut in half. Then the stalkers close in for the kill. Or mid range bots finish it off before the vultures/stalkers get in range. But I don't doubt that your skills in a Cossack will cause one of my teammates to mech out.

1200+ wins and they still pop, pop, pop nice and easy. In the air, or on the ground. I like the aggressive ones with Tarans, or Orkans. Easier that way. No chasing them to a beacon. Maybe in the next 1200 I'll see one worth their salt (see what I did there *grin*). I will find you I KNEW that was coming and was eagerly awaiting your reply, lol

I couldn't disagree more. Cossacks wreck when they corner, and they hit midrange hard. regardless of skill level. The number of Cossacks I have popped in my time as a midrange bot pilot (first trident/pin Leo, then RDB griffin) numbers into the hundreds. Cossacks wreck when they are cornered? My PDB rhino disagrees lol Then you haven't met what I affectionately call the ultra cheesy Whirly grasshopper of death. I've taken down my fair share of Rhino's with a cossak using an Orkan. I just get them out in the open as they do their rush thing, and then just run in circles around them as I let the Orkan just ping away. Even with their shields down, they move entirely too slow to keep up. It's on the level of using the low kick cheese move from Street Fighter on the Nintendo back in the day, but it works like a champ. I'll keep an eye out for you and demonstrate it first hand if I see you.

The above tactic work wonders for the Thunder Schutze as well, I call it circle-raping

The above tactic work wonders for the Thunder Schutze as well, I call it circle-raping I prefer circling with the Cossack. It makes all the heavies look so silly. If they learned how to capture beacons and turn they might win. Schutze are more fun when you climb up on their face and pound away with the thunder.

Schutzes climb on their heads too, and an upgraded thunder is a hellova hammer. Although my Schutzes have been in mothballs since I got addicted to grasshoppers

Not older than I considering when I first started gaming on the Apple II-e and playing Oregon Trail, Miser and Swashbuckler, only one even had much to call graphics. ......Circle-raping is more accurate, just bend over and take it like a man Leo

I can match you tit for tat. Apple ][e, TRS-80 CC2, IBM PC-Jr. (w/ 8086 proc even), Super-Pong ("with 3 new games modes!"). Some of the first games I've ever played are Attack!, Chopper, Ultima III, Spelunker, Scorched! etc. I wrote my first line-numbered BASIC programs on my Trash-80, and saved to an Audio-Tape Drive. I learned how to circle-strafe playing the original coin-op BattleZone, and perfected the technique playing Wolfenstein 3D. But yeah, I know we have a solid group of 'grey-beards' here, we are still outnumbered

So, I did the whole, I'm going to use 3 Cossacks. two with orkans and one with a taran, have a vityaz for some knifing as a last result. It puts me in a high tier. my cosacks get squashed like they are tiny flies. I don'g get it. Unless I go with the stock ac molot t's that they come with, i don't see how a cossack can stand a chance in a battle in silver territory

You don't have the HP to duke it out, your main objective is to capture beacons. Take your kills where you can get um

Keep your body protected at all times. You must either be capping, cornering or circling at all times, so you should never expose yourself to fire. If you're ever "attacking" in a Cossack, do it from a corner.

It's not allowing me to post a pic, but just won a battle, capped 8 beacons, 2 kills. And, a hand full of gold

Did I mention I was the last bit on my team, with two reds left over. Almost made a final kill before time ran out for the red.

I would like to be a fly on the wall of the red that is trying to stop me from repeatedly capping beacons and capping him when he gets too close , lmao

Adrian being one of them. which he seems to OWN in all of his videos. I can't seem to navigate as well as he can with my phone. Ive been debating on a tablet with a controller just for this reason...

Even just a tablet is a HUGE upgrade. I don't have a controller but the screen size alone on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 allows me the luxury of being able to see what is around in pretty detailed fashion. Being able to see the difference in a destrier and a gepard is crucial in my decision to step forward or sideways for instance.

But that Shield K1 with its 8" and wifi controller just seems sooooooo delicious! I did also check out a Asus memo2, which another forum member suggested in a thread about android devices. Its WAY cheaper than the shield, and still has a 7" screen. Seeing how I would only be using the tablet for this game... I'm not sure how much I want to "invest" in another gadget...

I'm sure you'll get plenty of other uses out of it. Maybe not so much on the controller depending on how much you game

No, they're almost equal in pros and cons. Its just what I have on hand. Although, the Orks are better for the stick and move technique

Put heavies lower than high silver and Cossacks will circle-「grape」 them worse than Andy at Shawshank....this game so needs a 1v1 challenge match mode, I'd love to show the nay-sayers what a grasshopper can do

High sliver and gold, Cossacks are cute. They pop like popcorn. imo cossacks can hold their own alright in trash gold (and high silver), I'd say the ratio of me ejecting when I want to me getting killed (in hs/tg) is pretty high.

I love my Cossack. Lol. Although I only keep one for variety purposes (1 mid range, 2 knife fighters of different types). I find funny that when you kill Aphid Geps without taking any damage from them, they'll try to hunt you down with another aphid gep. Same results. Hurts though when there are multiple enemies.
