I'm starting to become impatient as I accept that Pix will fail to meet the timetable they gave us in their Summer Roadmap. This isn't a rant which is why I didn't put it in that section but it is a request for anyone with inside info on the matter to send me a pm and share if they don't feel comfortable posting here. Thanks

I too am getting impatient. I haven't yet decided the threshold of saved Au, when I'll get something else. 10k saved Au is a month away, I'll hold out at least until then.

Maybe the important aspect of the road map was the word "summer" and the reference to July/august was a misprint. If so they may have been refering to the Southern Hemisphere summer . Few more months to go till summer. I always suspected u guys up north got ur seasons mucked up anyway.

The more pressing question for me is what currency will you be able to buy them with. It's about time we could buy something tasty with WSP, though I am not holding my breath.

Why bother , They will squeeze this for everything its worth . Butch and the runts cost two or three times the price of an average gold bot . I will be surprised if the naruto bots are the same price assuming they are even available on non event days .

Pix does not ever make the timeline you expect. They also tend not to meet any timeline they state (...and thus, say very few things about actual timelines). This is part of the reason you shouldn't actually ever save up for anything that hasn't already been released. war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/12311

I actually got bored of waiting and that got me bored of the game. It reminds me of this old business case study I once read. There was this computer manufacturer which had released a new whizz bang product. They got marketing to sell it. Of course, things went quickly awry as marketing said. "If you think this is great, just wait till next year when we have something even better coming out!". So many customers of course waited. They said, "Well, your whizz bang product sounds nice, but we'll wait till next year because that newer product sounds awesome!" So what ended up happening was its current whizz bang product completely undersold. The company got itself a cash flow problem and it couldn't even pay its engineers to build the next generation. It ended up going bankrupt without even ever releasing it.
Moral of the story: It can be good to build anticipation, but don't build it too much and too far. I think in Pixonic's case, they should have just released something and then made the appropriate buffs/nerfs. This wait is way too long.
Personally I'm now playing War Wings. A game by an established micro-transaction type company (Tencent). I'm sure they'll never bother to tell us about their new planes. They'll just roll them out and put them on sale for the appropriate time. It's a simple enough strategy and very lucrative.

I don't recommend anyone to rush at the bots once they're out, they will possible get nerfed heavily.

When I saw the hype building around the dashes at the early stages of the Pix announcement I thought they were employing something similar to a target marketing type campaign akin to the the one used by The boys at Nisan prior to unvailing of the mk1 r35 GTR. but ...... I think I gave Pixo too much credit. If pixo can't release the bots in august they should make some sort of a statement to correct what was said in the summer roadmap. such a statement would also build trust between the devs and Players. For the time being I am in the "save gold" camp but my confidence in my approach is slowly eroding and starting to shift my position towards something that was mentioned by Muhlakai et al.

T34, I am your father. Come to the Dark Side. We have more fun and because we're playing more bots we crush your dreams every time we pop up Red. Together we can defeat the waiting scaredycats and rule whatever Empire this game is set in.

The longer the better. Those Dash bots are going to annoy the [hot place] out of me. Little guys will be zipping around everywhere, jumping out of Orkan range, dashing backwards to keep you from closing into taran range, and zipping around corners to dodge punishers and molot fire.

Yeah, it seems like they'd want to get the dash bots out ASAP so that people will stop hoarding currency. Poor game currency players make for bigger real currency spenders. Even though I'm saving for them, I don't want them to take over the game. I like variety, but I just feel like not having at least one will set me back in the game.

From Pix's standpoint, there's no point in delivering the Koreans or anything else for another 6-8 weeks at the earliest.
With the 3.x bot/weapons updates and Beacon Rush mode here, Pix can get all pilots to spend silver on building 2 full hangars to play either Domination or BR modes.
If anything new came out now, pilots would just buy/upgrade the new stuff. By delaying everything for 3-4 months, Pix knows we will just burn silver on buffed Rhinos and Carnages etc. By the time the Koreans get here, most pilots would have spent over 200M Ag maxing out the old/buffed stuff to optimize performance on BR ---- just to start over again to compete with the new meta.

Don't want a second ancilot, don't think I need more than 6 orks. have 5 gekko, 5 aphid, 3 zues, all the au bots. (3 galahad, 2 gary). Just want to save for dash.

I have 23.2k in gold waiting for dash bots. I don't speed my upgrades ( but was tempted so many times). I can get close to 100 per day, so that is 300 per month.

The fear of loss? Let it go. The bot hasn't been released yet that had to be bought or else. Buy what you *should* have in your hangar right now.

The anticipation is giving me constipation! I'm not even sure what my hangar needs right now, other than just upgrades. I suppose I could use a Rog as a better beacon capper than my Gareth.

They will be released in July or August... just like the Scourge was coming out in July...
Something tells me the Summer Roadmap doesn't lead to where Pixonic said it did.

Show me the timeline Pix ever successfully achieved. Think of the roadmap as where they're going, fine. As for the expected time? Well, let's just say their summer GPS thought they were going to be traveling the speed limit and not stopping at every historical marker and rest stop on the way.

The Long and Winding Road(map)? The Road(map) to Nowhere Leads to Me? Every Road(map) has its Thorns? Take Me Home Country Road(map)? Goodbye Yellow Brick Road(map)?
