Currently, it's a bit necessary for broad range of Leagues. If things go according to Pixonic's plans - weapon diversity being introduced to higher Leagues - the MM should tighten up relatively soon.

Play a mostly defensive game and choose targets of opportunity. You'll soon find that your piloting skills will improve and when you check the After Action report you'll say, "Dang. I smoked a Diamond." You'll get better and won't even realize it ..

That question is easily answered. Pixonic is a business and wants to make money. So if you are annoyed enough, you might buy some gold to speedup your upgrades 'til level 12.

Maybe it is worse at the bottom of league ladder. Though the 12/12 in Silver games are surely tankers. They probably move up again after the event...

I started seeing Champion league players when I entered Diamond 1 just a few days ago (Android). Expert appeared when I entered Diamond 3, IIRC. But it is kinda ok for me, since there are games the other way around too. Not sure how it works for those in Silver... probably less ok.

Have you considered or tried squading together? Does it make the opposition more difficult than what she faces normally? If squading works, if I were you I'd consider really working on that, because that can really give you an edge... To get your equipment levels to match, you could upgrade more bots and weps to 6...7...8 while waiting for her to catch up. Two accounts is also an option, though that costs a lot in silver income per account. And of course beware getting in real life fight over what happens while gaming...

My solo advice would be for her to concentrate on getting beacons, and helping wins by beacon control. This doesn't mean forgetting damage or running Ecu Cossacks, it just means not going head-to-head with Lancelots. There should usually be other high-level players in the blue team too, it's their job to take out the red heavy hitters. So 2ndary objective after beacon control would be support these heavy hitters, protect them, take out Anciles of Ancelots with Thunder and Puns to let them connect with rockets.

I'm not saying things are as they should, for those in Silver. And I'd be optimistic about them improving after the event. But they are what they are, and a player needs to make best of the situation.

for me, a league makes only sense when I play against people in my league.
its like soccer league, the next village team dont play against FC Bayern.

because they dont want to get win points when losing.

I tried some games again today, I will stop playing this game until this league mixing is over.
I had no normal games since this league-mixing was installed.
from gold to expert is too much in my league. experts quitting after losing one bot and only 「dookie」ty games.
Please, give me back the old sytstem playing against players in my league!! ?

Once you rise high enough yeah. But you'll have a run of many games before then.

Well, i would prefer a 5 vs 5, 4 vs 4 or 3 vs 3 match with even players then, instead of a match 6 vs 6 with high level players.
Too often i have to play matches, where my team just doesn't have enough firepower to kill the reds. In the last days, the reds just grabbed all beacons and we were not able to push them back. Only my DB Griff seems to be able to kill at least one or two reds, all other of my L8 weapons don't really do any noticable damage to the reds.

yes, I'm shure that we are not in leavers queue, otherwise I wouldnt talk about new matchmaking.

Actually, you ARE talking about tankers.  Read your own original post.  You specifically mentioned your GF being in silver and playing against 12/12 opponents.

You are partially facing this issue because some of the idiots who are maxed decided that it would be easier to earn tokens during this event by tanking and dropping down to your league when they should be Masters or Champs.  I say this because you are saying your issues only started in July.  Well, that's when the event started.

There were already maxed tanking idiots, but the event has brought even more of them out.
