What is everyone's view on ejectors? I am not talking aboot the pilots who just barely survived a duel but too crippled to be of further use. I am talking aboot the pilots who eject 2 seconds before you blow them into next week.

Well when you know you are going to be killed and there is nothing you can do to your enemy, there isnt much point waiting for them to kill you. Better to swap out to another bot more suited for a battle in your favour.

Idk, what's your viewpoint on a guy who quits his job when he knows he's about to get fired?

My thought is "I should have killed them faster".

Ejecting is frowned upon by some... but I could care less.

I understand there's a "cheese factor" to it, by denying someone a tally of their hard work against you, but like CΛΜΡΞΓ™ noted, we're there to win games, not accurately maintain our opponent's statistics. If ejecting gives you a few more seconds in a more productive mech rather than flopping around waiting for the inevitable, and therefore contributes more to victory, then there's nothing wrong with it. That said, I'm generally a "til the bitter end" kinda guy myself, but I don't have a problem when folks eject.

Kill count means nothing but bragging rights, and really who cares but yourself? I guess some peeps get a kick out of denying you that +1, but my reaction is usually "meh, one less target". On the flip side, I use every last bit of HP for every bit of potential damage. Full disclosure however, there have been a few times that I've wound up being the last man standing on a team, and I've deliberately teased the Reds by hard-core camping and ejecting just before they can surround me for the kill. In that kind of scenario, it's more important to me to piss them off, since winning would be impossible.
My all time favorite battles to be had, however, are when facing another opponent that refuses to quit as I do. Imagine 2 Cossacks tearing each other up with Orkans. Imagine their respective teams trying to help and getting killed by said Cossacks as they continue to hound each other. IT WAS EPIC.
This is more of a life philosophy than gaming strat, so take it for what it's worth to you. If you've found that the odds and/or rules are so stacked against you such that it's impossible to "win", you must change what winning means to you. Facing a full clubber's squad of 5xTMGeps? You can't win by beacon caps or damage, so what to do? Take out as many of those 「fluffernutter」ers as you can and 'win' top damage on the losing team, and for a super-win, out-damage the top seal clubber. I've personally done this on 3 separate occasions with my iOS noob-ish account. Looking at it this way at least helps me when my ego is flailing after a couple of bad runs. Whatever gets you through the night.

I will purposefully bait 2 or 3 bots into a far corner of canyon, springfield, yamauntu, & springfield with my capper after flipping their side beacon, firing Aphids and pissing them off as I go merrily skipping. My goal is to attract as much attention as possible and bait as many reds as possible. This will usually end in spectacular fasion, i.e. 3-4 pinatas/orkans, multiple tarans & mags all at once as they round the corner.
Yes, I will eject right before I die just to piss them off. This then makes them hunt me the rest of the game. No chasing damage, the damage comes right to you. If kills earned you Au I would not do that, I would consider that just plain rude.
