Strayed, you forgot the Leo Gekko/Zeus. That was a beast around the time we started. Damage multiplied the hotter the target got. Built mine just as the gekko was nerfed. Oh crap! Too bad I can't edit the poll without losing the votes, *sigh*.

Right on is never tongue in cheek.
A thunder raijin is a horrible idea. Death Button bots and plasma bots will just hit you from 300m+ away. Thunder bots will just walk away because your bot that is already slow has an ability that makes it even slower.

Ah, the kang dae fury was in the meta from around the fury's introduction in 0.6.1 to the kang dae nerf in 0.9.0
The beacon bar ran faster back then, so it was usually used in clans.
If I remember correctly, the Zeus fury wasn't used as much because of its cost and need to heat up its targets.
Adrian probably also knows a bit about it.

9/10, loved the soft melody and the fast build up.

Hm, not really liking the slower buildup. Other than that it's fine. Of course, I have to detract a point because it's B&W. JK 8/10

In my opinion, no.
The wiki is supposed to be welcoming to all player types as long as they are not cheating. The admins & mods even maintain a balance between pro-clubbing and anti-clubbers(two anti-clubbers, one fairly neutral, two pro-clubbing, although we do have a consensus against bronze clubbing).
The fact is, creating an "anti-clubbing" clan and sticking the wiki tag on it would be an insult to the wiki, as the entire point of the wiki is to provide a place for everyone in the game to be able to discuss things freely and give advice to one another. Well, that is as long as they are not breaking any of the rules of the wiki or any of pixonic's rules. Currently, there are no wiki rules against sealclubbing, and even if there was, there would be no real way to enforce it.
Creating an anti-clubber clan would just be a waste of time for everyone involved. It's pixo's problem, leave it up to pixo to solve it. Currently, all we can do is attempt to convince any would-be clubbers and hope they stop.

4/6 is high bronze. Thunder schutze is still effective there.

Plasma Death Button Rhino - Was basically the plasma griff but almost two times faster and with a shield. Basically directly countered the plasma griff and plasma rog.
Death Button Rhino - Was the goto shield bot destroyer for close range. And bots were slower back then so there weren't problems with bots backtracking rockets.
Trident Fury - Basically the same as it is now.
Thunder Orkan Lancelot - One of the few bots that can destroy multiple shield bots in a row.
More later.

Honestly, I'm wondering how long it'll take for this post to erupt into a flame war about sealclubbing.
I bet 100k for 10 more posts.

You drag the bot. However, only alter and peashooter can move because peashooter challenged alter.

I'll try to give some context of the abilities of the bots listed then.
Molot Griffin - Even if you were to start out at 500m, it could cut you down before you got within 200m of it. And it could junp.
Kang dae Fury - Basically a treb fury, but in an era of the game where there were more long range maps than short range, shields except for the ecu and anicle didn't exist, and it had a 15 sec reload instead of 23 sec.
Punisher Rog - The punishers used to do damage on par with plasma. The average bot health was lower back then as well. No bots had more than 150k health except for the leo.
Aphid patton - It basically had the same accuracy that it has now, but the average bot speed was 8 kmph slower and there were no shield bots.
Thunder Orkan Boa - The thunder Orkan boa was the second fastest medium back then while being able to carry the third highest amount of firepower for a medium and having heavy bot level health that exceeded all but one of the heavy bots. It was a 「gosh darn 」 mbt on legs.
Plasma Griff - Back then, not a lot of people had aqquired the rhino yet and tarans unloaded in 7 sec instead of 10 sec. This setup did 180k dmg in 7 sec, essentially nullifying the previous meta.
Taran Rog - Back then, players were looking to put as many tarans as possible in their hangar, and the rog, griff, and rhino were the only bots with multiple medium slots. Not a lot of people had gotten the rhino yet either. The rog also had decent health back then, and amazing speed, so many people used it as a beacon capper in many tiers.
I'll add more later.

This is a list of all known most powerful meta setups that the game has had since I started playing around a year and a half ago.
Please chose the three that you have experienced to be or think would be the hardest to defeat.
The Higher/Lower corresponds to the tiers.
They are ordered roughly in terms of date. However, the separate tiers are divided into differing categories.
The numbers correlate roughly to the timeframe.
Yes, the punisher Rog was useful at some point and the aphid pat was useful in a time long before the recent aphid buff
Just because a meta bot is not on here does not mean that it is not a meta bot, simply that it isn't the strongest meta bot anymore.

The worst part is that this could have been interesting if it had not gone full ?special? from the get go. MagGeps have not always been the "clubbing bot" of choice. I remember when it was the t-rog and geps were not taken seriously. It would have been great to hear the the old timers talk about previous inbalances, but instead we had to make it a big joke. Like chatting with 13 year olds. I'm an old-timer and I want to talk about when the Thunder Orkan Boa was the boogeyman of the game. Lol Back when the Taran Rog was the main clubbing bot, you could get 2/9 bots into low bronze and people could use glitches that made you invincible to all forms of damage except for splash.

Hold up, I wasn't saying that I would bump it over the aphid or anything, just saying that it may deserve a higher spot than the gecko.
