Could someone please explain Defense Mitigation? The way I understand it, Defense Mitigation help your weapons bypass robots that have built in resistance, from chips, natively or any other way.

As others have said, Defense Mitigation allows weapons to directly bypass bots’ resistance, without the need for corrosion or the blast effect. Currently, titan weapons, railguns, and Hawk’s ability beam have defense mitigation. Additionally, there is the Defense Mitigator microchip, which is an A-type microchip that grants defense mitigation to the built-in weapons of drones equipped with it.

Shawn, I don't know why you even bothered with that link. Might as well be speaking Martian. While your at it, why don't you give me some hieroglyphics to read.😊

Hi I'm Daniela1, the OP of that Defense Points thread. Let me explain it in an easier way.
Defense Points or Resistance is an in game mechanic that allows your robot to become more durable than what their HP value might suggest. This is done by reducing incoming damage from enemy weapons, effectively making your bot more durable.
Weapons with Defense Mitigation can bypass this effect, either partially or fully. If a weapon has a full (100%) defense mitigation, their damage output cannot be reduced by Defense Points. If it's only partial, their damage will still be reduced by Defense Points, but not as much as without having Defense Mitigation.
