I do have to say, if there is one thing I found funny (and I would know having been around since the wiki)...
It's that a lot of offenders during the 12/4 mag gep era were essentially all tankers. People who knowingly did that talking like they're angels or something.
Personal pet peeve. I NEVER clubbed ONCE, EVER. Instead I pillaged the clubbers and put them in their place.

. I NEVER clubbed ONCE, EVER. Me either, it was always too dark. And loud. And.... wait a minute, are we talking about the same thing? I never tanked either . But hell, I've BEEN clubbed. Actually, I don't even know what my win rate is. I think about 38% last time I checked. About a month ago. I was still using the all the dash bots. Kumiho, you're next on the chopping block!

Guys, guys, guys: War Robots Forum is one of the best places on the internet. I'm browsing the web since the mid 90s, and there are a lot of bad places out there. A modern example is Reddit, which I like, but where you get banned without any discussion if you post things that the mods of a subreddit simply don't agree with. Yeah, you heard that right, you get banned there not for posting offensive material or for insulting people, you get banned there because lots of mods on Reddit are on a power trip and will ban you for the tiniest "reason". So think twice before you make statements about censor ship or other bs, which does not exist here. War Robots Forum is a real community and it's one of the best that I know of.
Have a great rest of the weekend, everybody!

[CK]erazor you DO know that one of the Reddit mods is a mod here too right? Lol I'm talking about Reddit in general, where every sub reddit has its own rules and bad or good mods. A lot of subs have really bad mods and I wanted to point out, that I think, that the mods on this forum here are really doing a good job. No idea about the War Robots sub reddit. I don't visit it very often.

SuperHero thx for responding. It was almost 3am and I had to sleep. someoldman thx for your thoughtful reply. Superhero covered most of what I would’ve said. The only thing I would add is that tanking hurts your team, while discussion of tactics to better beat the enemy team is why this forum exists, and contributes greatly to your team, often leading to a win. So yeah, why wouldn’t we be biased about that. It is not unreasonable to ask people to avoid explaining how to ruin a match and your teammates game experience. As for discussing Pixonic business methods and the impact, generally we are asking people to try and start those threads in Rants because they tend to be full of complaining, using derogatory names for the company, and occasionally ill wishes of its team or even death threats (the latter two of which will not be tolerated even in Rants). The objective seems clear to me - by keeping excessive complaining and negative topics in Rants, the rest of the forum can thrive with fun and constructive dialogue about the game. So we are not telling people not to vent or discuss those subjects or keep beating the same dead horse every day for years, lol, but we are asking it to be done in Rants. There are a lot of great players here with great input from their experiences in the game, and now some who left are returning to also share. This elevates the forum and we all benefit from great advice, and that is an excellent outcome of a well balanced forum.

We could steer them to tanking in FFA so those 「kitty cats」 get off the blue side and ruin fewer games. I see the same tankers over and over, the tanker reporting form is still bugged for me, with no eta on a fix. I have 100 images in a folder of tankers I couldn't report.

Garbage gameNo, we don’t steer them anywhere, we don’t discuss it. They don’t care what people have to say about their bad habit anyways, so nobody is steering them anywhere. Pixonic did mention a Report button is in the works for later this year. Presumably with the War Robots Remastered we will also have an updated UI

Let's talk seriously for a minute.
Is tanking really that bad?
Ok I can understand why mods doesn't want people to talk about tanking and promote said activity because the vast majority who does it use it in an abusive way.
Most tankers lower their leagues to get easy wins, easy preys and farm resources, but what about the little guys?
I've seen new and f2p players in higher leagues (top master and low champ) running Leo, Natasha and Griffin and getting obliterated by much, much stronger players.
Can you blame these players for actually tanking to stay away from the big guys and try to improve their experience in the game?
Nobody likes lose all the time.
A player can only withstand a certain number of defeats before going crazy.

That's one of the biggest issues with the MM. If you don't use meta you go down in wins and leagues. Since I'm a player that likes to use all my bots and I mean ALL of Them, I run different themes and hangars that includes Stalker, Galahad, Rogatka, Ares, Leech, Doc, Carnage, Dashers, All kind of Robots. So of course at some point I'll lose because legacy or older bots can't carch up against Meta bots. A couple of weeks ago I decided to run a Camelot Hangar (2 Lance, 2 Gary, 1 Galahad) and a I had such a hard time because stupid Phantoms just keep eating alive all my robots with Cryogenic weapons, and of course with too many loses you losw tons of league points. Something thats its completely unavoidable to the losing player. Is it my fault that my robots aren't that good against other stronger robots? Am I now forced to use specific robots? Do we all have to follow the same style as the top players? Meta, Meta, Meta? I completely agree that the MM needs a lot of work, especially after the merge. but this game has always been about a complicated version of rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock, with the Pantheon bots being the only problem with that system for a time. you CAN run specific bots, you will have to accept that every bot has specific weaknesses. You wouldn’t need cryos to deal with a Camelot hangar. Even an Orkan Specter or Haechi would give you hell. You don’t have to follow the meta, but you then need to figure ur own way to live at the top. linearblade and Ⓑⓞⓑ Ⓓⓨⓛⓐⓝ are on opposite ends of that spectrum and also viewpoints, but they both make it work with lances, Raijins, Menders, Hellburners etc... Not really. It’s a complicated game of rock-paper-scissors...until Pix sells FIRE for $100/month and then WATER BALLOON for $1000/mo.

When you are on my team and you tank, you often cost me (and others) the win along with the resources that go with it. When you tank on the Red team, I may get the win, but don’t get the enjoyment of a good game. MM gets it right about 10% of the time, IIWII. The game is P2W, so what, it is also F2P. Pay or don’t, but just play. If you can’t play without tanking, go find another game.

Everybody gets stamped on *some* of the time, as far as I can tell most of those dudes want to do the stamping *all* of the time. I don't get why anybody runs around in Champs/Masters with legacy gear (unless they want to, which is fair enough). I've had 2000 victories and have more gear than I could ever upgrade.

I don't get why anybody runs around in Champs/Masters with legacy gear (unless they want to, which is fair enough) You said yourself. In my case I do it because I want to. I run legacy/older bots in low champ and master because I like to use all my bots. I hate monotony. To me using the same 5 best bots over and over until they are nerf or replaced by something better is not exactly my definition of fun. I choose variety because that's the way I enjoy the game. So I'm sorry if someone lost because I decided to choose my own enjoyment.

Tanking= to avoid being smashed in order to become the Smasher.
There is just no way to justify it.
When I started a new account on Steam, I got the worst beating in Silver and Gold league. There were guys there with better hangers than my 5 year old Android account. I joined one of the clans and asked why they tanked. They said Champion league was too hard and it was unfair for them. I was then booted from the clan because I refused to tank.
Now I'm in Champions League and getting better games even though I'm way under powered. I'd rather get beat by a maxed hanger in Champions League than a maxed hanger in Gold.

Pix might not be as strict af disciplining Tankers as we'd like them to be, but it does seem that changes in the game over the last 4 years HAVE reduced the frequency of the practice.
I remember full hangars of maxed Haechis in Silver League. I remember entire weeks where every battle was decided by which team had the fewest Tankers. I remember being surprised at seeing mafch results where not a single player had a 0-0-0 score.
So things aren't perfect, but they're better than they used to be.

If anyone needs a refresher the 1st amendment is RAPPS. Right to Religion, Assembly, Petition, Press, and Speech. I think the problem lies with everyone thinking my post supported tanking. I DO NOT SUPPORT TANKING. OMG I said tanking. My post (whose content was conveniently deleted, but not the title) was about having to deal with Pix's MM system. Get pwned enough and you drop a league. Or two. Which isn't tanking. The system is designed to let you win, but not too much. It's just something most of us know about. The OP played L6 equipment. Probably not as experience as many of us. I was explaining that you just need to bash it out. Accept that you won't win most. I do not know why you quoted me but okay.
