I love this game, and I'm not at all trying to say that it's repetitive... except it is. Shoot, get shot at, get beacons, get let down by your team mates, carry and win or get dragged down and lose. Every game.
Maybe...
Mode 1: Classic The current game mode OBJECTIVES: 1. Cap and hold the beacons or 2. Destroy enemy bots
Mode 2: Capture the flag OBJECTIVES: 1. Cap and hold the flag for the longest time (domination bar) or 2. Destroy enemy bots
Mode 3: Deathmatch OBJECTIVES: 1. Destroy enemy bots
Mode 4: Ditch OBJECTIVES 1. Cap and hold beacons 2. Destroy enemy bots 3. Lose as few bots as possible (See muhlakai's post below for specifics)
Mode 5: Campaign OBJECTIVES: (dependent on mission)
Mode 6: Practice OBJECTIVES: None
Mode 7: Daily Challenge OBJECTIVES: None ALL BOTS ARE THE SAME, different bot each day.
MINIGAMES 1: Warball
2: Race

I'd be interested to try a single bot mode. Everyone gets only a single robot for the match and once you are destroyed you are done.

Survival Nothing especially exciting, however it would require Pix to program AI (which is always a troublesome investment). You and your team have to hold a beacon vs, increasingly difficult waves of randomly generated bots.

I'd like deathmatch. Even Team Deathmatch. Heck, even defenders vs attackers - you know, one side must defend their base. The other side must attack. Would be crazy fun.

Practice mode. 1(you) versus 1(AI). its hard to evaluate the hangar setups in battle, more or less the individual bots themselves. or, teacher vs pupil mode. 1(you) versus 1(clanmate/friend).

I wouldn't really like capture the falg, because the cossacks/geps could just swoop in, no? Most games with Ctf usually have the flag bringed back to base. Also, cossacks and gepards are not known for durability, so having flag defenders would fix the problem.

Base defence 5 mins to attack a base while the other team defends it. The aim for attacking team is to deal as much damage as possible to a power plant/building in the 5 mins while the other team tries to defend it. Do you ignore the enemies and go straight for the target or do you try and eliminate the enemies and attack the building while it's unprotected?

Just remember guys, AI is really hard to code, and we can't expect too much of Pixonic. Also, War Robots is set up in a way that both teams are exactly equal to start, so messing with that basic principle is a bad idea.
Thanks for all these ideas! It's great to see that there's some weight behind the concept of new game modes. Of course, if you have any ideas keep em coming in, there's no wrong answer (except Pokémon Go War Robots edition, that's dumb and should never be considered).

Not really game modes, but I've been thinking introducing random environmental conditions might be cool, each with some unique affect on the game play, so you never know quite what you're getting into. Like nighttime with reduced visibility, fog that makes plasma weapons less efficient, rain that interferes with target lock, snow and ice that limits max speed, wind that makes rockets less accurate, etc.

I'd love to see a Ditch mode.
The Ditch starts with two equal teams. Each player chooses one bot to start the round with. Round starts. Standard victory rules. No respawns. Losing team gets one new member. This is any new player joining the Ditch or (if none) the player who was first eliminated from the winning side. Any bots that survived go back, fully repaired, into the hangar. All players now select a bot again and a new round starts. Any players that run out of bots leave the Ditch, opening a slot for a new player. All Ag and Au won is awarded after each round. 1 Au awarded if you win a round with only 5 bots on your side. 2 Au awarded if you win a round with only 4 bots on your side. 3 Au awarded if you win a round with only 3 bots on your side. 5 Au awarded if you win a round with only 2 bots on your side. 10 Au awarded if you win a round with only 1 bot on your side and Ditch is reset.
Essentially the same game, but emphasizing very different hangars.

Then we get longer queues and everyone cries. Maybe not, but MM is only going to get worse if there are more queues and less players in each queue. As it stands, MM is terrible even with one game mode, and with multiple queues, every round can be expected to be extremely unbalanced. With multiple game modes, running a hangar with equipment levels between 6 and 9 will be plain torture because you can expect to face maxed out hangars every match. The simple solution is to reduce the number of upgrade levels from 12 to 6 or make upgrades faster, but that would kill the cash cow of noobs buying gold to speed up upgrades. If we do get more game modes, expect the MM to go even further downhill.

A fixed hangar game, where Pix chooses or randomly determines the hangar each day could be fun. Not sure if that's what you mean. Your own bots wouldn't matter. When entering the Fixed Hangar queue you'd always be loaned whatever the "hangar of the day" is.

Warball. Shoot a giant ball with any weapon, or push it. One point per goal awarded to team. Not sure about how to fairly distribute Ag and Au winnings tho.
Oh yeah, different weapons have different effects on ball like speed, distance, spin etc.
And a 1v1 Duel Mode.

Many great ideas...
I really like the Assault/Defend mode Idea. Defenders may even get a few environmental barriers that they can place on the map in their zone to help channel the Assault into their fire zones. Have fortifications that are the right height for bots to hide behind yet still attack... would give arty bots a reason to exist for the assault team, and a way to use the Fujin in sentry mode that would protect them from plasma, etc. Griffins would shine on the assault team, Lances and Carnages would do well on either. Have fog of war on the assault side so that you cannot target anything without LoS... unless you have a scout (light bot probably, but a Rog or a Griff would work too if the map was right) that can see the mechs on the Defense side. Whatever he sees is lit up on your map. Etc., Etc.
Man... so many options.
The daily challenge is a great idea as well... and it can go so far as to be specific actions in the battle determine the winner... Like, who can kill the most bots while in the air in 5 mins. Only kills achieved while jumping count... yes you could damage them on the ground to soften them up, but if you weren't in the air when the killing round left your weapon the other player would respawn. But, if you did get them from the air that hanger slot would be gone. Everyone would start with 5 and if they never got killed from an air attack they would still have 5 at the end. Bonus if you kill a bot in the air while you are too... Just an idea...
