My strategy agianst Leeches: 1) FIrst you have to trigger its ability. I try to cornershoot, or have some distance to it. Also i shoot it with my lock down weapons. I dont care if it is tethered to me or an friendly. I want to trigger its AC. Then i stop shooting. 2) Engage. But be ready for Phase Shift and a new round of Leech ability. Fast robots are the best against it. Phantom is great. But also Strider/Pursuer/Lokis/Ao juns and other fast bots. Try to lock it down. Of course the Leech also have a maxed Last stand. So another round with Phase shift and a new ability. 3) Kill it! (PS. I refuse to use Phase shift so my strategy will not include that. 「fluffernutter」ing hate Phase shift!) Sounds easy right?

Took one for the team last night. The little blighter tethered on to me and then my team mates pummeled the absolute 「fluffernutter」 out of it. How do I know? My health bar dropped quicker than a pair of honeymooners strides.

Accept death and move on, or slap that leave game button. I'm interested to see the Nerf to this bot. That or as I be said before, the next bot which will counter the leech will be even worse. We all hated the ares, but it was killable. Now the leech and we miss the ares. Sometimes the devil you know. Either way, prepare you wallet for immediate release

My Bulwark could give a Leech a hard time with 2x Vipers and 3x Fortifiers. The Aegis can take a good beating from several bots. Bully also has Armor and Aegis shield pilot skills. Same deal with my T-Falcon only more so. I imagine a Mk2/12 Leech might kill it....eventually. T-Falc has a Calamity lvl 10 Mk1 at present. Its been a month so I wonder if you have since reevaluated as I think you might be overestimating its ability? I'll admit my Bulwark is only level 9 with level 10 Vipers and 2 lvl 1 Fortifiers. It is not tough. Against those 4 medium shotguns, energy or kinetic, shield is gone instantly. I have physical shield, energy shield and crazy electrician all as high as they can go. If a mk2/12 Leech gets hold of me, and can shoot as well, I'm dead every time. I go with hide and pray! Unfortunately I put my Bully away in favor of my Weyland. The Weyland gets me 400 more honor points per match by healing. Sometimes 270. I still think he would give the Leech a good battle, though Mk2/12 anything is hard to beat.

i try and get into cover until I get off of its tentacles. And of course, hope that no fellow blue fires at him/her. 4 meds are still very dangerous though.

Yesterday one of our beacon runner Phantom was running a MK2 stinger and a wasp. This guy would beeline to a Leech soo quickly...didnt see if he was successful or not but it seems he had the right idea...lol!

I hang back and wait for them to run their ability. Then with a quick bot that can stealth or take a beating... phantom, pursuer, ao jun... and attack fast and trigger last stand. If you do that then it leaves them with one phase shift to work with. That's the best situation then you can time your attack and your own phase shift to finiish them off.
Do not go in to kill a leech in one trip. It's a 2 part process.
The other more unfortunate option is to have a more expensive leech than the other guy. Outlast his last stand, out last his hp, out damage his shotguns, have more skills on your pilot, have a maxed battle born or heavy armor kit.

Last days i MUST fight against full maxed Leech Storm and/or Corona with max Last Stand and so on. Last one have 4!!! of them in his/her hangar.
Best counter = maxed Pursuer. I run/hide, wait till it's not Leech'ing, then Hunt like mad. Three Mk2 gusts can usually take it down and if not, I pop PS and retreat for round two. If they don't have Last Stand, PS, and the defensive pilot skills, I can usually take em.

I would use a BLitz. You will need to make sure it is at a high level first of all and that your pilot has the Destroyer skill activated no matter what weapon you want to use. I would recommend halos - fight fire with fire - since the Corona seems to be the weapon of choice. Of course use a last stand module and level it up a few times at least. Then you train your pilot for sharpshooter halo. A mechanic and perhaps wonderworker would also be useful but definitely get the mechanic skill. Get your weapons high enough too and it's up to you what the other 2 modules will be.
When you get ready to pounce on your Leech who just finished oozing it's purple goo onto you or someone else, preferably a stranger. Get ready to pounce on him when he is weak and you should be able to get his barber shop pole to activate and then you most likely need to get some cover since by then your shield will have worn off. Next time around, if you're lucky you will finish him; Bliztality.

Rayker with Redeemer/mag has the speed to pursue it and can tank it for 5 sec.
Leech doesn't have a lot of health, agreed PS/Last Stand is trivial horse 「dookie」.
Also get a kick out of bombing the 「illegitimate child」 with Hellburner straight through his DR. Chump. HB can do back to back bombs at 50% and just run a circle around him.
Still isn't really an issue compared to Phantom. Also I was laughing my ?bum-bum? off when a leech was sucking on my Mender. Goober

I met my first leech storm. Bloody hell. He smoked the entire team. Dont know what hes feeding his bot. It was unkillable. All of a sudden Ares seem nice and fluffy Can someone confirm that suppression from invader, blitz, ryker has no effect on an active leech. Thats the anti control module.

I also have some advice for you that will solve a lot of your problems. If you are willing to spend $100 this X-mas, Pixonic will offer a one year premium pass for the whole year. Last year I was struggling to get into the championship league and now I am starting to kick it into high gear all because of all the silver I have been able to earn. Get the ops passes too and buy 600 gold when they offer it for a dollar. That's all I do and I don't blow it on the stupid offers.
