Last days i MUST fight against full maxed Leech Storm and/or Corona with max Last Stand and so on. Last one have 4!!! of them in his/her hangar. Mine are normally MK1 10 some MK1 12. Lets say the Leech is MK1 too with MK1 12 Storm and/or Corona, any Strategy that i am not smoked in some seconds? Added: The only Strategy i found till now is very expensive: Pilot skill ‚use another active modul after 50%‘, so you be able to use it twice and survive the first run. Then kill the Leech if his Last Stand already gone awayand he have not the same pilot skills and not in adition ‚use longer and faster the active modul‘ (2 pilot skills) and not be grouped with clan with boosters ...

You need range to wait out the ability and then move in for the kill. If it is on you and has you locked down then there is nothing you can do. Firing at it will only damage another blue or even you if the leech was dumb enough to latch onto you while attacking. A competent leech pilot will latch onto another blue then run up on you inviting you to fire on it damaging the other blue and killing you in the process. Unlike the Ares which is best at mid range the leech is best equipped with brawler weapons and forcing close combat. Leech pilot: "I'm in your face with 4 Coronas ect, what are you going to do, shoot me and my 90% DR?" "Congrats, you just killed your teammate" "What are you going to do now, I'm in your face and have latched onto you?" "Are you even going to fight back?" "Hey, stop hitting yourself" "Stop hitting yourself" "Stop hitting yourself"

If you have a tank you can outlive it. I've come across them in my Raijin and lived to tell the tale. If he locks onto you, just go into Bastion mode and wait until his tether evaporates then hit 'em with double Avengers. You're health will be depleted but you'll be able to continue to waste Reds. I think I've lost less than half of my health just facing them down. I can't recall the weapon. Otherwise, hiding is a good strategy. Ha ha.

I don’t think anyone knows of an effective counter play at the moment. List of threats (all other things being equal): • Jun Swooping in (same as with any other bot. If you get caught with your pants down than you are toast) • Ares working as a team. A lone Ares is Leech food. At best it has to go defensive. • Surprise from a non WS bot – enter the Phantom • Highly leveled T-Falcon with advance healer, road hog and anti suppression • At times it is worth shooting it if you think you can finish him off.
It was designed to be OP so it sells. Also worth noting, the purple bubble is a deflection of incoming fire and not a defensive shield. The Pursuer humping the leg of this bot doesn’t work.

If you are willing to sacrifice a teammate, just gang up on him. LOL.... Especially if he's on low health

Go into stealth to get un-leeched or use corrosive weapons. If you are green crack crazy then use deathmark.

I saw it still hit those in PS (maybe it won't do damage in PS, but the tether remain)

Until we have ThermoNuclear missile to kill it quick, maybe the only good counter is the one linerblade came up with.....max out a Viper Rajin.
Be nice to know exactly when to drop it............

I’m thinking Leech will be an attrition bot...kill it, but one teammate, or self, goes with it.
Not shooting just empowers it to rule.
Gonna be bad when these things are in WS........

I thought I recall seeing a video with PS breaking the tether. Maybe it was a dream... PS doesn’t break it but I don’t know if it registers damage (don’t think it does). WRT to stealth. It remains tethered as long as it leeched on prior to the bot going stealth. Cannot establish a tether on a stealthed bot. But IMO the leeching tether is a bit over rated. The damage is done by the 4 weapons and the practically invulnerable 10 secs. Speed and small stature also helps it.

Weapons damage is too great. Lances and Trys melt almost as fast as non shielded ones even when using coronas. Stay out of range. use open spaces. Shotgun leech doesnt like that. But i suppose thats when we will see hussars and scourges being mounted..

Last Stand helps a little when Leech is tethered to you and right in front of you. Overall I agree, ?dookie?sonic has again outdone themselves in finding new ways to frustrate players and make counterplay impossible.

They are tough. I ran into a mk1 lvl 12 with mk2 corona yesterday. My ghost Lance fortunately was at full health. Leech was at near full health. I ran straight for him and he ran to me. We were both trying to close the distance. When we got to 100m he leeched. I waited 1 one thousand 2 one thousand then hit phase shift. Ember and storms were fully charged. I shook my bot at him while leeched. When phase shift and leech wore off we both opened up at 50 meters. He went to Valhalla to converse with his ancestors. I was left with a broken middle sheild and about 60% health left.
If he would have had orkans (which no one uses) I would have gotten hurt real bad.

Up until last night, Leech hasn't appeared to be overly dominate...but that changed and my opinion of the leech has changed significantly. In back to back to back fights there were multiple MK2 leeches that racked up at least 14 kills per leech. It sucked 3 of my bots in 1 battle dry and there was nothing I could seem to do about it. But my question is...does PS break the connection? On another note...remember when Pix nerfed the spectre? Made it slow, reduced to stealth after jump, and extended the cool-down...part of the explaination by Pix was that it was too OP...and then they come out with Leech...But Pix is not stupid...well they are but they have a strategy and it works on a certain population of the War Robots community. At the same time, it appears that they have provided better resources through the operations and time reductions using ads...I think this is to help off set their other game design flaws. It is a continual do-loop of OP bots/wpns and deceptive reasoning by Pix that is old but predictable. The game isn't going away as has been predicted over the years...we just adapt...because the game mechanics are still pretty good.

Use of crack is the difference between upper tier and apex squad play. I’ll hit the crack pipe, once per game if I think it will matter, it it probably never comes down to one hit of crack. Top clans use PS nonstop, good for them, good for Pix.
