since the recent update, im kinda broke because i dont know what weapon or bot should i get. im currently focusing on a spark because i felt like i needed one. any suggestions?

silver 2
Rdb Griffin
Trident/pin leo
aphid/orkan griffin
orkan/pinata gareth
i switch between tdm and domination and always like attacking from the distance.

You're either going to get no advice...or the entire world is going to tell you something different.
We have no idea what your league is, what your play style is, what you are trying to do as a teammate/squadmate...
Any advice you get will be both good and bad.

Ignore me and tell, by far smarter, complete strangers what your short and long term goals are with a bit of background about your account and these wonderful people will give you guidance.

If you're broke, focus on upgrading what you have instead of stretching your Ag thin. You want to produce a Spark but probably won't have enough Ag to upgrade it to an useful level? Lol After I came back from my long vacation from War Robots, I didn't use the workshop for about a month so I could build up my Ag. I think I actually stopped using the Workshop prior to 2.0 because I had everything I could buy with WS points. Anyway, my point is you don't have to use it if you can't afford it. |

Did some digging on your post history and since your signature says silver league, I'll start from there.
Frankly, almost any workshop bot will be an upgrade. Bots are arguably better investments early on. With weapons it's slightly different. If you can keep up with the Ag cost, aim for high profile bots like Spectre, Bulwark, Pursuer etc.
Spend your BM keys on silver chests - there is a chance you could win a Fury or a Lancelot.
I wouldn't build any weapon until I had at least a pair of Orkans and Tarans. Most of what you can build in the workshop is fairly specialized.
Orkans/Tarans will be your standard gear - usable until the end and versatile enough to outfit many different bots. Once you also have a couple component bots, reassess your weapon needs. You will likely have overused Punishers, Thunders and Tulumbas at this point. Choose weapons that best complement your new bots, i.e. an Ember for the Inquisitor/Mercury, Dragoons for the Fury, Gusts and a Halo for your pursuer etc etc.
A single Spark won't help you much. You will almost definitely need a second one and possibly a Scourge or two on top.
Most likely the biggest bottleneck will be Au at this point - I would use it only to get more Orkans and Tarans (after getting the 5th slot). Get a fast bot and cap beacons like crazy.

Silver II
Hangar:
Trident/Pin leo ( im upgrading the hell out of the trident )
Gareth Punisher/Aphid ( figuring what should i put on this bot )
DB griffin ( self explanatory )
RDB Griffin ( also self explanatory )
im not really broke on ag , im just low on gold ( 300 ) so i can upgrade my weapons if i want to. im also thinking of buying a fujin and putting punishers in it , other than that, i hope the info i gave ya all gave the ideas xd. sorry for my bad grammar , i live in another country ( PH more specifically )

Well one Spark won't really make a difference. You need "sets" of equipment such as 2 Sparks and 2 Scourges for Griffin. Produce comps for whatever weapon you have the most comps for in your WS.

I concur with everyone else here. For now, bots are better than weapons.
You should also take time to experiment and find out your playing style. One of my biggest mistakes was spending too much silver and gold on expensive Zeuses only to discover "You know what, I like long-range play better than mid-range play"

Pick something you want at the top and start building it.
Save up your royale tokens and wait until the weapon or bot comes up and then spend all those tokens.
If you want comp weapons and bots only open gold chests.
Workshop is only really viable as a target component completion builder.
By the way like what others have said sparks are great paired up with like weapons like Scourge and Ions.

I don't see the need for two rooters on the one bot and since they have sorted the root glitch they seem to hardly superglue much at all.
Rooters lack damage compared to the straight normal weapon. I've discarded my rooters for the time being.
But hey what ever floats your boat. It all depends on how you play what your hanger balance is. What you enjoy brawling with. There's so many options.
You can even chuck spirals on the thing if you want to. I know I have.

The standard pursuer setup is 1 Halo, 2 Gusts, (halo on one of the low slots, to tag Stalkers and other Pursuers)
