Has anyone used a Doc with 4 Shocktrains? Obviously it lacks the shields of Haechi/Bulgasari, but I would be interested in how the quick draw meshes with targeting (I assume you don't have to reacquire the target?).

You don't need to, but you won't be able to keep firing 4 of them in succession because the quickdraw cd is long, but sometimes it's not much of an issue because you need to find a target. Saw a few on my team and they seem pretty fun. Here's a vid with the "DocTrain". enjoy!

For me the hardest part about shocktrain is finding a target. Id probably use orkans or Tarans as the second one to give you some firepower once they break 400m range

I tried it with a pair and tulus. All I can say from the experience is you mount four of those and everybody and their mother is coming after you...and Doc isnt exactly a bellerina. Its pretty fun on single targets though..til the reds wise up.

Ran into one on Moon last night. Seemed to be doing okay. He did have an issue swapping while trying to hide behind the beacon towers... the outside set allowed him to shoot while his torso was behind cover. The inside set is too close together to do that. One was discharging into to the tower instead of the target from what I could see in spectator mode.

It's not the shields it's the dashes. Might as well run them on a fujiin.

I mean...if the enemy is using shock trains as well then the physical shield will help block a lot of hits especially the bulgasari's shield which is stronger than a rhino's. Before I started seeing a lot of ST users, most of them were using haechi as their main platform for ST, but as more people acquired them, they switched to bulgasari for the benefit of the physical shield to fight against other ST players to gain a leg up.

I agree, but that's not what's being discussed here. If you arent going to run shocks on a dash it really doesn't matter what you put it on, it will be sub par. The alt builds will have pros and cons within themselves, but the point is largely moot.

So yeah, I think I agree with the thread consensus here, but I also like to run unusual setups, and if I had 4 Shocktrains I might give them a spin with the Doc anyway

Also, bulg has higher health and is a better corner/cover shooter.

Good luck deciding about the recommendations. I can imagine a situation where quickly hitting someone with a second set of st's would be good.

I'd prefer it if the quickdraw ability would be to knock a second or two off weapon reload times to sync it with the existing quickdraw cooldown.
