Guys, I would ask that you please act civil. I'm not going to lock this thread as of yet but if the hostility and name calling persists, I will be forced to and possible strikes could be issued.

Dude, put me on ignore if humor bothers you so much. PM me if you need instructions. You read a lot more into my posts than was there, but to each their own. Go in peace bro. I had NO IDEA there was an ignore function on the forum!!! Thank you, I wish I had found about it months ago!

To get back to the topic at hand, I’ll post on a real example of how trust is important for this game. Aside from the obvious, I don’t spend anything on gambling because I don’t trust that Pixonic would implement odds anywhere close to reasonable. The actual example from just a few moments ago. I’m on the first win task (magnum). Got to the last task in the chain fairly easily, as it’s my secondary account so it is still at a level where skill matters. Got to 6/7 wins on the 5th task, and then four games in a row was completely and utterly outmatched by the opposition. Six months ago, I would’ve said this is just bad luck. Now, I trust Pixonic so little that I actually consider the possibility that they’ve added an algorithm that detects I’m almost done with an event task and tries to keep me from completing it. And because of that doubt, I decided to put the game down again. So because they’ve broken trust so much in recent months, something as simple as a short losing streak has caused me to not want to play.

The follow up question should be, are Pixonic making these changes based on a monetization foundation or are they really really... really really stupid... Maybe both They are as far from stupid as you could get. It gets tiring people excusing their actions on the premise of stupidity. It’s a very naive viewpoint to assume someone is stupid before assuming malice, when it comes to for-profit corporations. If they are doing something that monetizes their product, it’s because they have access to the research and information that suggests that action will make them money. And some companies, such as Pixonic, completely disregard the satisfaction of their consumer base if they see short term profits. The only “stupidity” you could possibly lay on them is that they should know this isn’t a sustainable business model. My assumption is they do know that, and that is why they’re doing it. I suspect they do not want to compete with BoT, and are just cashing in on their remaining player base as much and as quickly as possible before they have any competition. In my eyes, that’s a “smart” move, however scummy and predatory it may be.
