The thunders are being upgraded to 9. What should I level after that so I don't jump tiers super quick?
Is the best course of action: mediums to lvl 8/9,
Heavies to 6/9 then 7/9 then mediums to 8/10 and finally heavies to 8/9?

Long term plan is a Fury or Lancelot.

Also considering getting tridents for the carnage instead of the thunders.

I'm my experience deathbutton setups suffer the most when jumping tiers, so I'd probably go heavies to 6/9, mediums to 7/10, heavies to 7/9 and mediums to 8/10. From there i would repeat a similar pattern, ensuring that your weapons are always at least 2 levels above your bots.

Cornershooting isn't dead. Not by a long shot.

RDB Griffin has a higher DPM and more burst damage, while also being able to jump shot and jump away from other midrange, surprising your enemy with a nice little gift of taking 1/3 of their bots health. carnage is more mobile and can move around the map faster, while also having another 100m to work with, as well as being fairly safe from other midrangers.
