Hi guys! I am dreamslayer28, a new player from the Philippines who is trying to get out of Silver 2 with a rather starter hangar (4 robots at 5/5 average) - heck, I did not even realize that there is a strong metagame inside the mobile title until two days ago. With that being said, I have barely touched the game for a week.
First of all, War Robots is a very good game that allows different playing styles to flourish. Yes, it is true that some weapons and robots are more "meta" than others, but that's just about true for every other competitive video game there - and even casual titles have their own metagame, so I guess that's understandable.
I enjoy the game a lot right now, except for one thing:
MATCHMAKING.
Why in the world would MM place you against players who are better than you, regardless of winning or losing said match?
Like I see players with 9/11, 10/12 and even players with 12/12, full hangar at level 30, meta-oriented builds (isn't it called an Ancilot?) in my matchmaking bracket with 55-65 percent win rate even though I am a freaking beginner.
Seriously, Pixonic? If you ever played Dota 2, that's like matching a 2000 mmr player with someone in 5-6k mmr bracket. Now try that.
Then worse, they have ELOs way higher than me (I am hovering between 1150-1250 atm), but I get matched up with 1400 and above players (I even saw an 1800 12/12 player in a match). WTH is wrong with matchmaking??
Justify matchmaking please. LOL. Can't we have an evenly matched series?
And don't get me started with people who make 50k damage then leave the match.
Personal stats:
1150-1250 mmr 45 percent win rate Silver 2 Equipment at 5/5 Can finish top 3 most of the time regardless of win and loss
JUSTICE for SILVERS and for those who are trying to LEARN the GAME!!!
