Hello all,
Despite I've read tons of topics about ranking/matchmaking, it seems I cant figure it out, lol.
So I get bonus (or malus, negative bonus) after a battle which gives me xp points. Earning those points moved me up thru leagues, to current silver 2.
Now , I saw people are saying bot and wep lvl counts for matchmaking .
So, is it something like this - by earning points, I advance through leagues, and MM sytem tries to pair me with bots of similar level inside my current league?
Edit - some says bot type also counts. For example, if I buy Fury and others are low level bots, will I be moved to higher dofficulty?

Hangar strength (i.e. bot and weapon lvl) does NOT seem to be a determining factor under the current matchmaker. If you are reading information contrary to this, it is most likely out of date or misinformed.
However, if you, as a result of buying a Fury, qualify for a higher league, or your win rate increases, or your average damage increases, then and only then can you expect to move up a matchmaking tier. As far as I can tell these 3 factors are the most important in determining your MM tier.
Hope that helps

Under the current matchmaking, the only thing that matters is gaining league points by performing well (defined by ranking of damage done on your team, plus 3 points for most bacon captures if you are in the top 3 of all players irrespective of team.)
Player level, not level, and weapon level currently have nothing to do with matchmaking. Stay low for as long as you can, honestly.

If every active player properly played the game, meaning they don't intentionally quit/leave any battles nor intentionally do anything to compete against weaker players, then the matchmaking system would work flawlessly. If you check the player hangars in your league, you'll see that the majority have hangar levels similar to your hangar. But now you must also factor in the matchmaking system having a broader league point pool and also inactive players coming back without a league ranking.

Thanks for explanation, guys. Looks like all info about MM and gear level is outdated. So I can upgrade my bots without worry of being placed in higher league ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Regarding keeping low profile - I would like to stay in lower leagues until i get some better gear (been playing for 10 ten days now), but I am old school gamer and I play for the team. Meaning, I always try to get flags, cover teammates, makes damage, dont leave match etc., so I keep geting league points all the time :/
