Here is the overview of the Christmas Event video War Robots just posted on their FB site:
1. 2-5 snowflakes per match win or lose
2. Snowflakes can be donated for clan slots (2500, 10000, 35000, 110000)
3. Same as pumpkins, you can cash in snowflakes for reward chests 10 per chest). Once you get so many chests, you qualify for a super chest that is a guaranteed gold item
4. New switchbot costs are light 3250, med 6500 or heavy 13000 snowflakes
sounds like a better event than Halloween with the gold items and bots.

The guaranteed gold prize is the only real improvement. The bots need either account sharing, no life, or real money. The Light bot alone would be damn near 700 games to get,so with guaranteed WSP/Au rewards every few draws, free players are definitely better off playing the roullette.

They have put the gunslinger bots in the super chest prize pool so at least you have a chance to get them there....just wondering how many chests will it take to Qualify for the super chest.

I think I will be trying my luck with the chests.
You need to play 1300 games just to get the big one (76 games per day) assuming you get 1st every time.
I think it will take 20 - 30 chests to get a gold chest

Holy Maloney. So let's say I get 5 flakes per game. Average game time of, say, 7 minutes. To get the Light Bot (the LIGHT bot!), I'll have to play just under 76 hours of War Robots?
I love me some War Robots, but good heavens...

Is the 2-5 snowflakes determined randomly? Nope, you get 5 for finishing first in damage, 4 for second, 3 for third, and the rest get 2 apiece....but both winning and losing team players get the snowflakes unlike gold. |

Someone on the FB site did a cut and paste using images from the video. Took the amount of bar filled by 1 chest and estimated 50-100 chests to fill the bar. |

Or, to make it completely ridiculous, a full clan squad starts a game and then everyone leaves. I hope Pix put in some countermeasures to this...

Update on this:
Looks as if you have to open 500 chests to get the "Super chest".
This is 5000 snowflakes. As the event lasts 16 days, that would be 312,5 snowflakes per day.
Assuming 5 snowflakes per game and 8 minutes per game on avg (incl. matchmaking) you will need to play more than 8 hours every day to get a "Super Chest".
Clan players using the above strategy would need to commit more than 2 hours per day to reach similar results.
End result is that getting a super-chest is not possible without paying real money for it.

I just watched 'DMN Blitheran' video on youtube. He spent all his 2300 snowflakes for 230 chests and the Golden chest bar just move half way, so I guess it would be 500 chest needed to hit the Golden chest target. Which means, a casual player like me who just play 2 hours per day can forget about it.

What a bunch of lies! Guranteed gold item? The only thing I've gotten with snowflakes is 40k ag, which is useless, or an ac molot. Way to get more activity while lying to your players Pixonic! I think the constant messages showing people winning lancelots and furys every 2 seconds are fake as well. Are you trying to upset people??? Because you've genuinely succeeded. Additionally, this entire Holiday Event has brought out the worst in everyone. Every single battle I'm in people follow me around and steal kills and push me out of the way fighting for beacons. Congratulations! The game I so loved and worked hard to get level 30 in is officially ruined! I cant play this game anymore or I won't have any holiday spirit left! Wake me when this nightmare is over, I want my game back without a bunch of lies to get more activity for Pixonic to brag about.

You do realize that Snowflakes are awarded based on damage done, NOT on number of kills and NOT on number of beacons, right? With respect, it appears you are misunderstanding the details of how this event would work, and as a result have had to endure a great deal of frustration. I would encourage you to go reread the available information out there for the event.
