Interesting vid. That cossack found his way off the map. I guess that's cool. I dunno, there are a lot of better things that blue could be doing.

Damage and beacons are all you think about! How about exploration? How about discovery? How about self-realization? There are more things in heaven and earth, Panda, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. -Amid

Didn't realize Purgatory was so bright and sunny. I would have expected it to be a bit more...well...Hellish.

Yes, amidf, my focus is narrow, and I should not apply my rigid standards to others. Last Saturday, while coaching my 4 y.o. son's soccer team, one kid doesn't try to kick the ball or score goals or even eat the orange slices. He chases butterflies. His parents urge him to try to kick the ball, but the butterflies are so beautiful..... When I put my kid in uniform, and drive to the field, and cut up oranges into slices, I expect my son to kick balls and score goals. If he wants to chase butterflies, we do that another time. And when I log into war robots for a few games, I expect to shoot reds and turn lights blue. But to each their own. Enjoy the butterflies, my friend. Cheers.

Yeah, when I play War Robots, I'm 100% steely-eyed focus. Approach vectors, weapons ranges, escape routes, nothing passes my attention. I love the mad rush of adrenaline as I approach an unsuspecting red, ready to deal out massive amounts of destruction on his...oh look...butterfly!

I heard a rumor that Pix put in an insta-win beacon, maybe he was hunting for it. But you can't have insta-win beacons without a few boobytraps. Tough break OP.

Somehow it reminded me of the area in Legend of Zelda: OoT on N64 where you had to fight Dark Link. Something about that gloomy, overcast mirrored horizon.

Every game has this kind of territory. The developers can't draw all the details of real world and put them in virtual world, so they just recreate the surface. Everything inside this surface will function normally, but outside... there is nothing outside. Developers usually make an invisible wall around the surface that they created to prevent players from falling into the void, but maybe sometimes, they forgot to do it properly, so players can find some technical holes on the map. Some games even allow you to access to this territory by console commands.

Pix may have fixed it but the Raijin did the same thing when climbing the mountain to the left of the dam if it went to high.

While my 7yo is trying to kick the thing and sometimes even in right direction, my 4yo at his early attempts decided that (1) ball is best used for sitting on it, while (2) most interesting spot is behind the gate and (3) the right thing to do there is look for flowers for Mum.

That was cool. Like the Truman Show when Truman sailed his boat into the edge of the world.
