There are more routes to victory than camping and center ramp.
In fact, camping here can be VERY detrimental to your team if you don't know when or want to ditch your precious treb Natasha, but ditching is another thread altogether.
If you keep getting wasted trying to climb the ramp, find another route, like a flank. Use cover. Stop beating your head against the wall, you're just going to die over and over.

Sorry to say man but if the team can't take mid it's over. Running around takes too much time and while you're trying to go for a far beacon your team gets spanked hard.

I never said to run the long way home. Just that if center ramp appears unassailable there are other ways than to mindlessly throw your bots at center beacon via the ramp, specifically, and hope for the best.

Ramp has the best chances of retaking it. One is completely open to snipers the other is a deathmarch towards mid which doesn't give you any strategic advantage even if you get there. Instead i'd advice them to learn how to use mid range explosives, if trident is not available then learn how to use rdb Griff or even pattons with pins for lower tier they clean mid easy.

Or go with the team strategy - even with randoms.
If you see others taking the ramp then either keep 100 meters back and support them or go wide and flank anything coming up the other side.
Of course with randoms 90% of the time you are the one who has to go up the ramp. If that is so, I am happy if I can take out one or more reds for each trip up. Often I will clear the top, take the beacon and then be gotten by artillery.

I disagree. Only one flank is generally exposed to snipers, so use the overhead cover of the other side to close in and take shots. And by overhead cover I mean that cover provided by the ramps themselves.

Or camp centre in a Cossack? Works for me.
