Hi everyone! I have been playing this game for a few months, without concern about tiers and hangar because i didn't know about it. Recently thanks to the wiki I've found out all this stuff and thus I am trying to keep up with this. I have been basing my gaming more on actual strategies in game, and effective possible damage with a bot, than on hangar levels and tiers, untill now. In the picture you can see my hangar. I am actually having a very good time in my tier, even though I don't know which tier I am in.. I have almost 5k of gold and 15k of WP, and I don't usually shop. The only premium bot that I have is a Gepard. The questions are: 1) Is the level of my bots enough balanced? In which order should I upgrade them? When should I stop, to stay in this tier? 2) I feel a need a set up for longer distances, like a dual trident carnage, but i don't like to be a sniper.. What do you suggest? 3) What should I do with the 5k of gold? New slot, fury, Lancelot or something else? 4) I am not sure about the Leo set up. My idea is that of a bot to deal the most damage possible, with continuous fire, in close range, so that I can smash any possible bot when they are not targeting me (very good when the other team is spawn-killing). Could a Natasha be better? Or which other bot?

If I'm understanding it right, the matchmaking system works by taking the highest point bot in your active hangar (applying a penalty if you have a WSP or Britbot in there, whether it's your highest or not) and comparing that to other player's hangars.
Stalker and Carnage are WSP bots, so there's a 20% penalty on whatever your highest bot is . Following the Matchmaker/tier guide, these are the raw numbers for each of your bots... 485 Stalker
695 Griffin 6/7
590 Carnage (M) 6/8
695 Leo 6/7
695 before WSP penalty. After penalty, it is 834. Note, this number will go up if any of your bots exceeds the 695 point mark (the equivalent of Heavy 6/7)
If I'm reading it right, this puts you solidly in Gold tier, which makes the WSP penalty much less of a big deal. I think there are multiple levels of gold, but I don't know where that cutoff is. The safe call: you can upgrade the Stalker and Carnage both by a fair amount before you get to that 695 cutoff. Whether the 834 is at the edge of a tier within Gold, I can't say. (Carnage could go up to 7/11 or 9/9, and Stalker to 10/12, if I'm reading it right.) That answers your first question, more experienced pilots will have to help you with the others.
Good luck out there and keep your laser handy.

Thank you guys! I bought my 5th slot! since I would like to use a bot for longer range, what do you think of a fujin with 3x AC Molot T? It should have more firepower than a Griffin with Molot, so it should be the right choice for the longer range. Am I right? The strategy with this bot would be to stay in a 800-650 range from enemy bots.

You already have a RDB Griffin so your midrange is good. you have a dedicated beacon bot. You basically need another knifer. I'd recommend a DB or PDB Griffin. One option is to get 3/4 of a PDB Griffin (taren, two magnum, fill in the other hole with a punisher T). Then when you can afford it transfer the plasma weapons to a Galahad.

In small maps I didn't find any problems with 4 bots (I dont destroy them all in 90% of the games), only in big maps i find it difficult to get in close range with all the snipers firing at me..

In small maps I didn't find any problems with 4 bots (I dont destroy them all in 90% of the games), only in big maps i find it difficult to get in close range with all the snipers firing at me.. I only play solo, I am not in a clan. The average battle has at least 2 if not 3 people playing fire support with kwk's or trebs or something. I need to get into the combat. I personally use 4 knifers and a mid range. Quite often I wish I was using 5 knifers. Depending on what tier I am playing I will use Galahads or Boas and trust the shield or high health to get me into a usable range. I find that I don't need a dedicated beacon runner. I need something that can take a beacon and hold it. In High Silver / trash gold I have all Griffins and Galahads - quite capable of taking beacons. In low silver I have 3 boas, a vityaz and a patton. My boas take an extraordinary number of beacons. I don't currently use a midrange for these.
