I have my current hanger below. I mix it up with 3rd Griffin rdb for Trident - just purchased recently Zeus Treb I need to get 2nd wep, looking at Trident or Zeus. What feedback / opinion does any one have on either weapon on a Carnage. Not looking to getting Fury in the future, just want best weapon package for Carnage. Attachment Deleted

Zeus is a good anti midranger weapon, trident is a good suppression weapon. I would go for Zeus if there were no bugs with the weapon, however because of the bugs, my personal preference for a midrange carnage is tridents.

Zeus is the optimal counter to 500m weapons, but due to 50% of shots on target missing, and the fact that you can't miss with the trident, the damage difference is worth it when you get the trident.

I use a Zeus on a golem in low silver for anti-gepard purposes and never seen it miss before, I'm on iOS I would say go with tridents because you only have one pure rocket close ranger meaning you need some more splash, however, depending on how much gold you have you could go with both and see which you like

The Christmas event will use snowflakes to open chests and buy the new robots... It says noting about using wsp for this or discounts or anything.

I have used a Zeus before and I rarely see the bug that other posters have mentioned, and in my experience a zeus has around 50% more DPM than a trident and always hits with a clear line of sight. The trident has a 4 second unload time and has to be kept on target during the whole time, and small bots can jink and avoid some damage if they are aware of you. Also, it's somewhat difficult to stay on target if you play on a smaller device, and leading a fast moving target with a Trident takes some practice. My personal preference would be the Zeus, but it's comparatively the most expensive and the Trident is easier to justify buying.

One thing that has me leaning to Trident is the versatility of splash damage. Some one that is firing missle/rockets & waiting for reload: Zeus only firs w lock on - w 50% miss bug (leaves alot of damage & time on. the table) Trident - can continually due splash damage I know I have taken serious splash before. I think that ability to fire when ever direct hit or splash make it the better 1st choice.
Im up to 14k inWS now and 2300 Au. Rather save the Au for Lancelot or other bot 1st.

I had a maxed zeus and a maxed trident on my carnage, the zeus with clear los firng on a heavy that's not even moving fast can fail to do damage even with a visual hit more often than I would like and the 36 mil silver it took to go 11->12 makes it even more disappointing. The trident does not have that problem, suffice to say there is another trident being leveled up while thunders sit on it now.

Zeus still have damage issues for me as well. That said for Top tier play I'd still argue for the Zeus Carnage over the Trident.
80% of the time you're better off running Tridents on a Fury vs Carnage in Top, so cost no object that's what players go with. Zeus are rare and specialized due to shield bots, but when run I'd argue they do better on the Carnage where they are very effective for anti-range and flanking. Despite the damage issue one well played Carnage Zeus can turn a clan battle on Winter or Canyons.
So from my perspective having lots of maxed options the Carnage Trident is a place-holder bot that I rarely run. Zeus Carnage on the other hand is the best bot of its type, and I'll run it for specialized rolls.

Zeus is better for Carnage, IMHO. I only find Trident Carnage annoying when I'm in my Fury. Zeus Carnage is always annoying, even with a shield bot, because it alters how you play, otherwise, that damn Zeus will eat you up.

I've kept an eye out for the Zeus bug ever since I bought two of them but have never once seen them fail to visibly rip into enemy armor unless shields were involved. My Zeuses are my most effective and favorite weapons. Trident are so close second. Both are winners.
