If u ask me moon is kinda broken. Why you may ask? Well if you spawn a slow bot like a Natasha or a Leo, maybe a fury. You have zero chance of making it out of spawn without hydra spiral taking half your health. And once you do lumber out of spawn. The rounded edges of the walls let hydra slip right around making it near impossible to get cover. So you are herded into the death trap of a center for cover to be blown up bye the next orkan that pawns. But the kicker is the hydra guy. (Pray there are not 2.) Is in the enemy spawn. An almost impossible feat to get to them to destroy them unless you have a counter hydra. Which mine is only level 5 still working it up. I am just a mosquito. But a level 10 or above does real damage. Thoughts? Just me? Or a real issue?

Ancile bots are your friend. Either Carnage, Fujin, or any mech with an Ancile equipped. Or, simply run shield bots and use the shield to block missiles.
Moon map is tough to play in anything. Griffin is a good bot, so is Rog (they both jump), but one mech you should consider is the Rhino. That frontal shield will block anything without splash, and you have plenty of speed to move around the map. Agility is poor, so you'll have to become adept at dropping your shield to turn and then raising shield and running again. Takes practice, and Rhino is never easy to use.
Moon map...simply doesn't cater to the big, heavy long-rangers. It's a map for speed, agility, and firepower. If you plan on playing Moon map, don't run something that'll be vulnerable to what you're currently having problems with.
I will say that once the Noricum buff hits, you'll see millions of them on Moon map.

When i spot 2 hydra launcher on moon map in red team mi thought is: Nice easy win! Hydra users tend to be static so my team easely go in advantage of 4 to 1 beacons then you are 4vs2! Believe me , do not be scared or distracted by hydra users, let them fire and control beacons ! Told that once every 1000 matches you find a good hydra user who know what he is doing...in that case just pay more attention and take him down asap if you can i usuali do that using a shielded bot

I am asking if the spawns being so close with no cover is good or bad. Greyhawk says it's a good thing, Ron has issues reading apparently. Thank you Greyhawk

Every map has its pros and cons. The same setups you speak of have an advantage on larger maps. The moon was created for CQC.

So no it's not broken. It's just not made for those bots. Fair enough. I bought a fujin ?No sense in trying to put a square block in a round hole

I myself still think that Gary is the best for that particular map and he's quite useful on the other smaller maps as well. .....not so much for Yama and canyon

I rock a Thunder/Mag Leo on the moon all the time. I find plenty of cover. The walls, the hills (especially with how tall the Leo is), the angles, the slopes the "Claw" around the beacons. I always eat a little getting there but that map is pretty much made of cover.

Hmm.
No reading issues here. All maps are simply not balanced for all bots and weapons. Which should be obvious; my mistake for assuming it was obvious to everyone. That would be like saying Yamantau is broken for short-range weapons because the spawn points are so far apart. Or Powerplant is broken for mid and long-range weapons.
All maps are designed differently, and it's intentional. Which was why, since I assumed you knew that, I instead offered a few suggestions that might possibly help you. Again, my mistake.

Typically, when a poster says he has an issue with something, the more experienced players on the forum try to help out. But staying strictly on topic, no, moon is a bloodbath, and the close spawn points aren't an issue. Echoing what greyhawk pointed out, regardless of map, when a few reds are content to chill at their spawn and spam long range weapons, you will win more easily as you gain a 6 vs 4 advantage holding beacons. As you climb leagues, you will see this behavior less and less, as it's generally not that effective.
