Should be called the mosquito because you can be so damn annoying in this thing. Awesome fun.
Anyone else played in this since the update?

Tulu Rog?
Not yet, but it's on my to-do list. I'm working on setting up an all-rocket hangar, including my two Rogs. Orks on one, Tulus on the other.

Just for giggles I briefly ran an ecu/tulu Rog. Even more of an annoyance. But keeps annoying you. And even if you sort of catch it, the ecu let's you escape again to continue. Tough to make a good case that it is a good loadout though. It's not. But I had fun with it.

Yes, Tulu Rog is damn effective as a capper AND harasser after the update. Use the mobility to stay out of trouble. Pop out to deal damage with the Tulus. Even quite easy to steal kills too.
It's my capping mainstay now replacing Aphid Stalker in both my hangars.
Cat's out of the bag. I guess there will be more of these running around soon.

I use it n my main hangar. yes, the reload and the damage is less than that of the orkans or tarans. but it makes it up for its range and damage area. With the rog, its a good platform for harassing, beacon capping and medium range support. Normally either i would cap the beacon first or run parallel with a Gareth or stalker. backpedalling, running for cover, bombardment support, switchbacks, lots of fun.

I like the Tulu Rog too. Not really a one man army, but i'm having fun, playing it as support bot and beacon grabber.

I guess that setup becomes good with high enough level Tulus. But level 7 (against mostly level 9 bots in that league) it just does too little damage. Maybe it's time I schedule those Tulus for upgrading next.
On a tangent from that, damn those Zeus take ages to upgrade. I'll be spending next 9+ days upgrading Zeus from 8&6 to 9&9. I hope they're worth it, I'm not completely convinced yet... but they are starting to show promise, so I remain optimistic.

I was running it yes, but I just found the damage was a bit too minimal after a while. It was getting hard to justify it over a RDB griffin or tulu Doc. So I switched it up to my Orkan Rog and it's just as fun, but more damage. It's my first bot of the game at the moment. Admittedly, my tulus could use an upgrade as they're only level 8. I think the Rog is one of the most fun bots after the jump buff. It really is an overgrown Cossack. Just love to jump over the rockets when an RDB griffin has emptied a whole salvo. It's harder to finish them off though now that they can shoot while reloading. But it's refreshing that it usually boils down to the skill of each pilot to shoot on target, manage range, and stay mobile.

Although I'd be very, very curious to see how it goes once the weps hit 10/11.... But at the moment I just like playing it, even have a griffin sitting spare with Pins on it... But I just love the rog. They can't get you and it drives them nuts. My little Mosquito

Yes! I've been playing Tulumba Rog since the update and it's so sneaky. I love to get behind barriers 400m from a short ranger and jump up to unload on them. Being able to jump so frequently makes it particularly harassing and I find the damage is pretty good. The red can't decide whether to retreat or try and chase me. Super nimble and just out of range.
On Moon I start with it and run all the way left, around the walls. Usually a blue goes up the ramp and a red short range Gareth or Stalker is running to that beacon. By the time I come around the corner the red is in my range but I'm just out of theirs and I have cover to jump behind. They get the beacon but with a blue on the ramp this immediate flanking means the red either runs or gets killed. Either way we usually turn the beacon blue in short order, then with the Tulumbas I can hit reds going under center beacon or trying to get that beacon back. Also, hitting a fast bot like Gareth or Stalker is good practice for firing the Tulumbas where the bot will be in 2 seconds.
Rogatka is so wily, easily my favorite bot and I rarely don't have one in my hangar. Used to always use Orkans but now I'm experimenting with Tulumbas, Tarans and Punishers.

Zeus get drastically better as they are levelled up. When people have to respect losing 25-30k chunks of health instead of 10-15k, they start reacting differently to them.

Tried it, it just doesn't do enough damage (even as a harasser) to justify it's use and still falls prey other competent mid rangers.

For 500m midrangers I get around 450m then jump backwards, firing right away. By the time they return fire I'm out of range. For 600m midrangers its timing and having cover to immediately jump behind.
