Yeah, that's right who da boss now!
Playing in dead city, on the left side trying to capture the far beacon (C) in my Tulu Cossack. I had baited three reds to follow me and for sure thought I was dead as I was jumping back to beacon B. As I get back to beacon B and try to take cover behind the wall my teammates come swooping in and blindside them on their left flank. Lol, they were too busy watching me jump around and trying to kill me that they completely forgot to watch their flank. Unfortunately, a red did manage to get a rocket off whose splash killef.
My team had just finished clearing the area out and were moving onto the center beacon by the time I get back to the battle with my Pin Destrier. I figured since the area was cleared I would go ahead and capture beacon C. As I'm running up to it I'm keeping an eye on the respawning reds. Most of them head towards center but one is clearly headed towards me.
I capture the beacon and begin to back off as far back as I can. I figure it's a Leo or Nat and I would just pepper it with my pins running in and out of my range.
The targeting box begins to clear the walls when I'm about 425m away and I let my pins fly. Pew! Pew! Pew! My reticle turns red, a hit! Then out of the smoke emerges a Tarancalot *EDIT* Thunder/Taran Lancelot! I continue back pedaling, holding down my DB (lol) and I can tell he's getting annoyed by the test shots he lets out even though he's nowhere near within range.
I continue firing as I backpedal and he's at a comfortable 450m. The Tarancalot has cleared the tall wall now and is moving past the two smaller center blocks when a DB teammate again comes to my rescue! He jumps in and is dead as soon as the Tarancalot turns on him but not before my teammate had brought its life down to a half.
The Tarancalot looks like he's had enough and begins heading towards the red's side of center beacon. I begin pushing towards beacon C again staying out of his range while taking potshots at his big behind.
I capture C again and I see him again breakaway from his group to come chase me away. Same thing happens. I back off to about 400m as he rounds thehe corner and I pepper him with shots. He has somehow managed to just liberate the beacon and not capture it though, so he lumbers around to get back within range of the beacon. When he finally captures it and begins to turn towards center beacon I finally finish him off. I literally let out a yelp when he blew up.
Ok, I had some help but I worked a Lancelot with a lvl 3 Destrier and off the shelf pins. And we won the match. Happy face.
On a side note, the MM is TENACIOUS at trying to get you to 50%.
