Let's recap, shall we... A griff can jump - 158k Health - Speed 35 A fury has no jump - the same max health and is slower... all while costing 5,000 gold! As of the most recent update - the RDB Griffin deals MORE damage than the fury - See the link for damage comparison ..... Great post! war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/7741/loadout-calculator-fury-tasha-comparison?page=1&scrollTo=115816But that's not all - Trident/Pin Natasha, RDB Griffin, RDB Rhino, and Trident/Pin Leo deal pretty much the same if not more damage than the Trident fury... at the 500/600 meter range... Am I missing something? Is the trident fury dead? Does it need a buff?

Tulumbas and Pins need to be reverted to their original state. A few months ago, a buff to the Trident Fury would be the buff to the most OP bot/setup.

I see them on most all battlefields. I have one myself and it still punches holes in bots! It is in my main hanger in Expert II. I think players are over reacting on the how OP the rockets are to shield bots. Yes, they do more damage, but it also done to every bot. I still see Lancelots & Ancilots in 9+ out of 10 hangars. I believe that Garys & Galahads are effected most. I saw few Garys before rocket buff and less now. The Galahad is replaced with Rogatka's and Griffins. I replaced my Galahad with rdb Griffin and it ROCKS now. I run 3x Griffins, Lancelot, and Fury in my main hanger.

Should a gold bot be slightly OP? Because it cost Gold! Not silver!
Not according to PIXs latest update!

No. Trident Fury has simply been brought down a notch but not obsolete. It takes a RDB ~10s to cross the range gap if just walking @ max speed. Sure, RDB could jump that gap in one leap but is left completely vulnerable for a sec during landing. ~60k dmg from Fury vs ~50k dmg from RDB but RDB can fire constantly.
Pick your poison.
Edit - to compare strictly at 500m is a bad comparison to make. The whole point of the Trident is that huge damage and extra 100m range over Pins/Tulus. Most Trident users know this and try to manuvuer in order to keep this advantage.

Tridents really do need the load as they fire buff.

Tridents do not need a buff. Pins and Tulumbas nees a nerf.

I guess they named it fury because those who bought them with real money are furious right now.

Yeh nerf the rockets back to where they were b4. Gala and Gary are now wsp bots at best. Not gold bots. The Gary just does not last. Same with the gala to en extent. Something needs to be done with the fury for sure. It is not worth 5000 gold in this rocket era. And if u also add in the 3 tridents than need to ask what gives. Using pix's math that's probably worth $200. It simply doesn't reflect its value on the battlefield after this update.if Pix makes stupid changes like this there is no point buying bots. Stick with Griffs. The MM will fix the outcome anyway. I am a fury owner and as Clorox mentioned above I am furious. Fix it Pix or u will start losing players above gold.

I put a post up in another thread. May be a bit off topic but sort of relevant.. My silver earnings have taken a big hit. Maybe bc I am running 3 Brit bots that soak up more damage now. And so does the fury. But alternatively if a class of weapons are buffed than most bots will have more damage. More damage overall->churn over bots quicker->less time for fighting as need to get back into action->higher repair bills-> less silver -> upgrades slowed down. Is it just me? If not this is a good way to generate revenue.

So this is the thread where everyone comes to cry...
It went from timing those Tulus and then attacking, to just running out there and fighting, hoping your teammates are making progress.
I find it makes for much more dramatic battles, where those bars are soo close to you winning or losing.
Fury is a gold bot, it's only good side is that it can carry 3 heavy weapons. So, No.. It doesn't need a boost/buff. Learn to play and don't cry, because expensive bots aren't a free win ticket. That being said' Why is it wrong for a Natasha to have more firepower, or an RDB Griffin to be superior over the Fury? (Because you spent 5,000? hahaha)
I personally find the Pins/Tulus very necessary, a perfect combat vs the Knights. If you think they need a nerf? Then you must either be outsmarted or dumb.. Cause everything here is available for everyone else.

The graph can be a bit misleading. It assumes all bots are firing at 100% capacity at <500m. The same graph at 5-600m would show a substantial advantage for the Fury, as the Tulu/Pins would be essentially zero. Also, the Tulu/Pin builds get an early advantage due to the high burst damage done with the first salvo. Afterwards the slower load times equal things out a bit and the slope of the lines are fairly even (meaning on a long match the rate of damage is about the same). If the astute Fury pilot can keep the reds at arms length, he still has a significant firepower advantage.
