My latest hanger posted below - I'm a few days away from being fully 6/9 and wanted advice on next move, in particular: 1. Should I up my weaps further to make 6/10 next (and then 7/10) or should I lvl my bots and be 7/9 next? Most of my matches now are trash gold, but worried that bot L7 would bump me to higher tiers more often 2. Thinking of replacing the aphid/taran griff with aphid/thunder leo. OK fit with rest of hanger? Not enough balance w/ plasma? (4 bots would be rocket/missiles) 3. I've decided against Fury (too much Au and Ag to lvl up) and considering Lance as next big purchase - if I do get one, and assuming I'm running the aphid/thunder leo mentioned in #2 above, should I run the Lance w/ plasma or w/ orkan? Would prefer to keep DB rhino, RDB griff and plasma galahad as mainstay for now. Any other advice welcome!  |

I have just upgraded my bots to 7/9 B30rll and have noticed better opponents. If you do your weapons your going to move up anyways...
This brings me to the next point as you go up there are more shielded bots and more rockets are needed, my chubbs taran isnt as effective so moving over to Orkans when suitably levelled. I am also considering the Leo aphid Thunder so can't offer anything on that from experience but I have run into a few and they kick 「bum-bum」.
Personally i think griffins are too squishy to run 2 as you move up so would agree on the move to put something more sturdy in there.

Personally i think griffins are too squishy to run 2 as you move up so would agree on the move to put something more sturdy in there. griffins aren't known for their sturdyness, but their great ambush damage potential. They are absolutely amazing for killing anything with close range missiles, however their counter is plasma when caught off guard/in the open. Personally I run 2 DB Griffins while platooning, and 1 when solo. Generally I replace a missile bot for an aphid bot if I feel like using one, as plasma Galahads are much too good to take out of the hangar, however I do not like the plasma variants of griffin, and so I would probably swap out the plasma griffin for an aphid bot instead. The aphid/thunder Leo is a very sturdy bot that can handle it own against many bots. Bots to be careful of in an aphid/thunder Leo are the plasma Galahad and plasma rhino, as these bots are very capable of negating most aphid fire and soaking thunder fire with their shields. |

Wow that is a close hanger to mine except I am almost all 6/8. I'm probably 2 weeks behind in weapons upgrades and have a DB Galahad instead of the DB rhino.
I gave up on the rhino very early. Galahads and griffins suit my style. The galahads I upgraded one more level than the griffins.
One Galahad I have now is 7/9 and my opponents seem no different. I am going to up 10 with all weapons I think before upgrading bots any further.

Vindictive999 you make a good point that L10 weaps will bump me anyway. And good to know that others are also thinking about the aphid/thunder leo  CΛΜΡΞΓ™ yeah i do like the griff for jumping on reds but just feels like having 3 in my hanger is a lot LOL. After seeing responses from you and vindictive I'm now leaning on keeping the RDB and the DB as i move to 7/9 moody as stated in other threads rhino is indeed difficult to work with but think it's worth the time and effort IMO. For me, plasma variant is hard to use (gave up) but orkan setup seems to be easier to pick up. It's like a DB griff but can cap beacons faster, and can take a lot of beating

Would go 7/9 -> 7/10 -> 8/10 -> 9/10 -> 9/11 -> 10/11 -> 11/11 -> Max.
Going from 10 to 11 on weps gets costly. So i would recommend getting your bots to max speed before you start that long slog. From 11-12 you can go either way (bots or weapons) as the costs are all similar (20+ mill per upgrade is no joke).
Personally, from 11-12, I've decided to bring my bots up first as I figured I might as well have the max health available. I'll get more utility out of 4 maxed bots (hp wise) compared to having 4 maxed Orkans (2x bots worth of weapons).(caveat: I did max my tridents and thunders first though).
*Edit: when I said 4 max bots, I'm not counting my Fury. That bot can stay at 10 for now success hp is not nearly as important for a midranger as it is for a knifer.
