meaning of overhaul:maintain, fix up,mend, renovate, rebuild, etc ...sooo does this mean they will change the stats of bots and some would look different? If so,then I hope it includes the gepard nerf and maybe redesign some bots to look more futuristic(*cough*vit/boa*cough*) Hope the don't overhaul the look of the Boa. Leave the toaster alone.

Touch the toaster, somebody gets it - unless they want to add an additional light hardpoint

The Boa looks disgusting now in my opinion

I can't wait to see the new boa look. I wonder if it still looks like it's feet are too far forward.
I'd be so disappointed if they changed the way the Vit looks. It's sexy in a functional rather than aesthetic way. I'm hoping since they use it on a lot of their graphics it's not changing anytime soon.

Is it just me, or do punishers and punisher Ts really have the same stats? From the hangar description the fire rate, clip size, and damage of the punisher and punisher T are the exact same (20 shots/second and 400 shots per clip), but the official Walking War Robots FAQ has different values for fire rate and clip size (10 vs 17 shots/second, 220 vs 330 shots per clip). I personally think that the Walking War Robots FAQ values are correct and the hangar ones are false based off my own testing, but I'm not really sure.

I tried punishers on a Lancelot--that was a total fail. But have been playing with a molot griff in low gold--I can't tell if it's useful or not as my support bot. It's definitely annoying... maybe approaching hydra-level nuisance.

Just because something gets a buff guys doesn't mean it's actually useable in the meta

Leave the toaster alone. The Boa is not pretty. And I like it the way now, crude, rugged and utilitarian. Just like how the Boa performs. If all bots look cool and futuristic and whatnot, IMO the game loses variety in aesthetics.

Actually, yesterday, because the punisher and molot damages have been updated to match the values shown in the hangar screen. The FAQ usually doesn't update if something has been rebalanced until both iOS and Android receive the update. Also, the punisher seems to deal less damage than before, and I think that it has actually been nerfed because I don't see as nearly many bullets coming out of it as before, although the time it takes to empty a magazine hasn't changed.

The faq has changed but doesn't entirely match the in game info. I believe the faq to be correct... we'll see if the in game info is corrected in the next fix (or maybe Pix just enjoys sowing confusion).

If the FAQ is correct (which I strongly suspect to be the case), then the punisher has actually been nerfed in the last update. Its firerate has been halved, and the damage buff is below 100%, not enough to make up for the reduced fire rate. The devs had made a lot of strange decisions, and this has to be one of the strangest, because it's obviously pointless nerfing an already underpowered weapon.

Somebody plz check my maths for me...
GAU Punisher: DPS: (370 dmg * RoF 10r/s) = 3700 total damage
220 clip @ 10r/s = 22 seconds + Reload 10 seconds = Cycle time: 32 seconds DPM = 2 full clips, 6700 total damage
GAU Punisher-T: DPS: (370 dmg * RoF 17r/s) = 6290 total damage
330 clip @ 17r/s = 19.41176470588235 + Reload 10 second = Cycle time: ~29.5 seconds DPM = 2 full clips + 1 second of 3rd clip, 12,950 total damage
I'm on the fence on this one because I don't wanna do the maths for the 'old' stats, but hopefully this will help some oldbies puzzle this out.

I think the molot T also got a firerate nerf not listed in the hangar. It now fires 8 shots per second instead of 13 shots per second, which means that its DPM has really not changed by much. I suspect that the changes were not made for balance, but rather to reduce the strain that bullet throwers had on game servers because it's less resource intensive to run a game if there are fewer objects (i.e. bullets) to track.

I suspect that the changes were not made for balance, but rather to reduce the strain that bullet throwers had on game servers That's a very interesting idea, I actually hope it's true and there's less lag moments. I crunched the numbers last night for just lvl 1 and lvl 12, using the Wiki for old values and Pixonics Knowledge Base for new values. Generally it's a nerf but somewhere in the upgrades Punisher T has more damage. There are some discrepancies with the new values though. I recorded video unloading the weapons and both Punishers appear to take 22 secs, while the figures say only Punisher is 22sec and Punisher T is 19.4sec. Also the Molots both took about 15sec yet the figures say Molot is 13.3sec and Molot T is 15sec. I think the Molot may actually fire at 5.3 rounds per second to make a 15sec unload time. This measurement of video was pretty rough though so I can't be sure. Or maybe the capacity is wrong. << Punisher >> | capacity | rounds per sec | lvl1 dmg | lvl12 dmg | unload secs | total lvl1 dmg | total lvl12 dmg | old | 400 | 20 | 71 | 203 | 20 | 28400 | 81200 | new | 220 | 10 | 116 | 370 | 22 | 25520 | 81400 | change | -180 | -10 | +45 | +167 | +2 | -2880 | +200 | change% | -45% | -50% | +63% | +82% | +10% | -10% | +0.2% |

Apologies for resurrecting the thread, but... Generally it's a nerf but somewhere in the upgrades Punisher T has more damage... << Punisher T >> | capacity | rounds per sec | lvl1 dmg | lvl12 dmg | unload secs | total lvl1 dmg | total lvl12 dmg | old | 400 | 20 | 108 | 206 | 20 | 43200 | 82400 | new | 330 | 17 | 116 | 370 | 19.41 | 38280 | 122100 | change | -70 | -3 | +8 | +164 | -0.59 | -4920 | +39700 | change% | -17% | -15% | +1% | +7% | -3% | -11% | +48% |
...level 12 Damage for a Punisher T is 306, not 206. If I'm running the numbers right, the overall change with respect to cycle DPS (assuming 100% hit rate), is... At Level 1... Molot: -5.12% Molot T: -10.69% Punisher: -15.76% Punisher T: -9.62%
At Level 12... Molot: 5.99% Molot T: -0.19% Punisher: -6.02% Punisher T: 1.75%

I ran a griff with level 7 or so Molot firepower after the buff for a few days, but am much more effective running aphids and hydras on the griff.
