I am not looking for a clan.
i got an invite trombone an android clan called Uranium. The inviter appears to be mostly maxed with a 50% win rate.
I am currently at 6/8 with a 70%ish win rate. (Was up to 86% yesterday but that has been crushed).
What could they want from me?

Maybe a lower tier guy (with similar level as you) in the clan saw you in action and recommended you to their leader. Perhaps your trophy count is high?

Doesn't mean i will join them. I feel like, presuming I wanted to be in a clan, If I were in this clan I would either be hopelessly outclassed by those around me (12/12) while simultaneously losing way more battles than I presently do. |

I feel like, presuming I wanted to be in a clan, If I were in this clan I would either be hopelessly outclassed by those around me (12/12) while simultaneously losing way more battles than I presently do. When I joined my clan, I was hopelessly outclassed...but I received a lot of great advice and coaching from great players. And squading with them exposes you to different line up philosophies, playing styles and personalities....makes the game much more enjoyable as it reduces the frustrations with randoms on your squad. Plus there are the social side of clans....I really like being on voice comms to coordinate actions and to shoot the breeze in between matches. And easier to squad for the extra 9 gold a day. Our win rates as squads can be higher than solo rates, especially if you are in gold and you're not compressing into lower tiers as solos. Just some perspective on the benefits of clans. Just have to find a good clan that is active and social and has enough players in your tier. And it is easy to quit if you don't like it....you just leave. Cheers! |

Had some rando clan called 'RUIN' on iOS shoot me an invite today. Pssht, as if I'd jump into the first clan that looked my way. What do I look like, a moron? Dee-clined!

Is there someway to get more info from a clan than that short description under clan info? I know that someones have fb-page or web-page for clan but mostly don't have. I have been got few clan invites in month or two now but I'm not joined anyone so far. Today was invite from clan [SLYR] King-Slayers (id 17702) and info text was only "Ride or die".

I'm not sure that they call themselves climbers, but running lvl 12 weapons on Gepards still counts as clubbing in my books. |

Also there is a pretty thriving clan community on Facebook and most clans have their own group there...

I would indulge the people who invite me into their clans. Whether or not I will stay is a decision to be made after spending some time in the clan.

If I am in a battle and a player does particularly well, such as damage AND BEACONS and I just removed someone for inactivity, then I will send you an invite. Most players at the low level recruiting do not stick, some quit the game, some go to a bigger and better clan. I love to see one of our members go to a bigger clan, It makes me proud.

I'm totally noob what comes to clans and have to ask: every clan have it's own tag before pilot name - when joining to clan, does that tag to be automatically added to pilot name without spending Au to rename ?

I'm sure the Clans generate a lot of gold for Pix, it brings an extra social dimension for some players, and Pix can do a lot more around Clan battles.
I'm not in a clan, but get an impression they get priority on Matchmaker?
As in a clan of 4 or 5 will get n extra pilot to take it to 6, but the solo team go into battle with 4 or even 3 pilots.
This has happened to me quite a few times, or am I imagining it?

Just an update.
Having gotten an invite from the leader of 350th place clan with a 52% win rate. I have now gotten an invite from the leader of 354th place clan with a 38% win rate. The hanger was seemingly almost random and 4 slots.
