Ok.. NOW I have to play with everything, with all my bots and weapons.. So i will be losing ground all day today as I work through everything to see what works best for me, ect.. I will be running bot ROG's with Orks on one and Punishers on the other.. Will be interesting to see how the Punishers hold up with the new buff..
I *think* Leo's will get the best benefit of the of all this.. But Griff's will also benefit a ton..
Im excited..
Ya know.. everyone likes to complain.. BUT I come from a game were the developers never listened to anyone and did what they wanted... they soaked you for every penny they could get out of you and the support was HORRIBLE..
War Robots.. noting is perfect.. but dammit this is a cool bunch running it, at least they are doing SOMETHING.. and I do love the game..
Kudos to the designers for the cool weapon upgrades and the new look.. The detail in War Robots is amazing.. from the steam coming from the vents, to the amazing sounds.. To the gameplay.. Amazing game.. !

If you're playing to win and to be a teammate while you're testing the new buffs out, I personally wouldn't call it tanking. Gotta test new stuff somehow.

If you're playing to win and to be a teammate while you're testing the new buffs out, I personally wouldn't call it tanking. Gotta test new stuff somehow. I always play to win.... but new stuff.. dammmm.. its new toys.. and its going to change some of the dynamics in some of the bots.. so it is trying to see how it is going to work for each and every bot.. So you know what to now put in the hanger.. but I am sure I will drop out of gold into mid silver by the time I am done.. Trying a lot of variations.. Also been checking out a few vids and keeping my eye on reviews in here to see how my experiences compare to others.. I do hate reading through a lot of whining though... This game is SO much better then my previous game.. So much cheaper too  |

I do believe he can understand what I am talking about and not make the wrong assumptions.. To wield a big hammer, you have to have common sense too.. I haven't seen anything too over bearing by Dredd since I have come into this forum |

I think a thread regarding tanking must discuss the ethics of tanking before dredd will close it. Anyhow better get my licks in before this thread is locked.  |

Now I have to know, which game did you play before? Alpha Wars.. I was into it for about 5k a year.. it was a totally baddass game, but they SOAKED you in money to make it playable at a high level.. and I am a competitive person, so it is the only level I know how to play at.. They did halfass updates and the customer support was HORRIBLE.. I tanked out of that game for good in December.. looked around trying different games until I found this one |

He may or the Mods may in general.. i wasn't thinking that when I posted it.. But I think they all can read, and while I may kinda troll once in a while for laughs and giggles, I don't play the game of purposely trolling the mods just to be a PIA or get their attention for a spanking, like others to in here.. I'm pretty low key most of the time . |

I have recently switched my goal of having a maxed hanger to have my bots and weapons to at least level 10 and 11 before I max them. I too want to try different set ups. I can't just run the same 3 bots..gets boring for me. |

Here.. this is my new hanger that I am really liking.. The ROG's got a huge Buff with the weapon buff.. I actually took out my STUKKA Griff and Galahad as I think right now the ROGs are more effective..OR, or I am just getting a lot better with the ROG AND this is the 2nd time this morning I took out a DBGriff with a ROG.. just being able to out jump and out maneuver the Griff with the ORK loadout on the ROG.. Been coolness.. OH and for all you haters of PAINT, with all the Cranky whiners about those that paint their BOTS.. you all gave me the push I needed to paint more... This morning with the updates, I painted the Natasha, Carny and my other ROG.. thanks for making the decision easy for me.. <3 lol |

If you're tanking, then I am too, and I never tank. Experimenting is not tanking. The weapon upgrades require experimentation. Pin Gep is showing potential...

Tested my stalker with lvl12 pinata's. Surprizingly effective. Took out a gary and a naty with it.

I believe the Buffs are too much. They do so much more damage, most Mecha are unable to withstand it. Survivability is almost zero.
"Shield Mecha" are no longer viable, which makes the "Brit-bots" redundant. Not a very well thought out Update ..

OP you chose your words poorly!
The update is causing my league score to DROP like a stone... because I'm playing with things that I haven't used in a while....
Things feel fresh and fun again because everyone feels like they got new toys.
I have enough stuff laying about to make up hangers on the fly and experiment (look those 10 event gekkos now have a use!)
As long as you stay the full match and your trying have at it, I'm doing it too.

One doesn't usually say something is "too much" and "not very well though out" unless they are on the receiving end of something... From the other side, with a three brit bot hanger most of the morning, it was missiles as far as the eye could see. However, it wasn't any worse than usual, RDB's still represent the same threat at range.... the follow up on them is weak... Orkins can still be dogged same as ever. It might change in time when people start popping out with partial loads, but right now there just isn't enough sustained fire from these weapons and people don't get that they can't finish me before I can finish them. Are they deadly when your facing more than one bot? Yes, but this is the case with almost ANY weapon, and the plink plink plink of missiles one at a time is ignorable vs something like plasma in a 2 on one situation. Right now EVERYONE has missiles and they are throwing them on things that they probably would not drive day to day so I'm seeing a lot of low level bots... everything is squishy today (hell I'm even doing it now) I think the bot that will suffer most out of this is the carnage. It was sort of soft for the role it had, and its regen was weak, so much that can evaporate its shield and it can't really juke... |

I don't tank. I definitely experiment. But what I experiment with has to be up to a competitive level first. Therefore, I have been upgrading tullumbas and punishers and punisher T's for something like 10 days Lead hose griffin kept getting killed - but not the fault of the weapons - killed before they had a chance to do anything. (well, one game I took out two ancils while standing next to a DB galahad - so hopefully he took the opportunity when I died). |
