I'm on IOS and G1 / Diamond 3 running (approx) all level 9 bots: Gareth, Gally, Zarnage, Griff (plasma) and 5th slot changes between DB Rhino or Molot Griffin. Playing on iPad touch controls was frustrating as I always had a "rouge finger" (that sounds weird) that seemed to mess up the response of the bot. So I got a Mad Catz gamepad CTRLi linked it up to the iPad and play the game that way. Using the pad is great, response is good and aiming is much nicer. The weapons have separate buttons which gives MUCH more strategic use of weapons, corner shooting and more comfortable to play. The added benefit is that you don't end up with a hunch back and smeary I pad screen. On the downside you cannot "map" the controller and the special ability button is only triggered on the screen.... not great but not the end of the world. The advantages outweigh the downside of the set up and the controller has some bearing on my hangar - dash bots won't work v well for example as the spec ab button is used more frequently. Thought I would chuck this out on the forum as I am interested in other players set ups and experience.

Android, playing tablet (ordinary way) and PC & MEmu & joy2key + keyboard & mouse.
PC is MUCH more precise regarding aiming for me; playing Tridents, plasma and rockets is uncomparable. Not that great for quick changes in motion direction (it's more intuitive on the touchscreen that AWSD), on the other hand strafing is easier with keyboard and it also seems to be more precise e.g. approaching the corner for corner shooting.
Tried to map a gamepad as I expected it to perform even better, but it got stuck somewhere the interface (works both in Windows both in joy2key, doesn't do anything in MEmu) so I don't know.
