I won two Anciles in the event and for fun, created an Ancile Carnage. I know I know... Just for fun. I did a few tests, some good, some bad. And then this. Believe it or not, my Carnage just survived the whole game protecting teammates from a huge amount of attacks. At one point two guys were under my Anciles, facing two or three opponents that tried to kill us. They couldn't. The end of the game arrived... And here you go. 0 damage. Very low damage for everybody, the game was just blocked as our team was sitting in the middle under my Ancile.

Ya know you each got 7 kills.. So someone died.. and a few on your team died twice..
I have an Ancile Carnage .. run it with a Thunder on it.. I have seen the double Ancile running around before and they get wrecked.. Just takes a bit more to take them down.. Nothing in the game is untouchable ... But the Carnage is a fun bot with a Ancile on it.. When I run it I just use it to cap and protect beacons until it gets put to death..

^ ancile thunder carnage. does that do enough damage? Same amount as a thunder ostrich but would last a little longer

If you ran around behind a galahad to shield you from plasma you might have a killer combo. Poor man's ancilot.

^ ancile thunder carnage. does that do enough damage? What I actually like about it. is in capping.. if someone comes up on you to take the beacon from you, you have power and protection to fight, unless you are outgunned, then you usually have enough speed and protection to get the hell out of dodge, until backup arrives.. From my experience.. others might use it for other purposes.. But you can throw a Ancile on a Natasha and have more firepower.. So I don't know the draw to use the Ancile/Thunder/Carny for anything else other than capping..

If you ran around behind a galahad to shield you from plasma you might have a killer combo. Poor man's ancilot. That's what I try to do.
I have my list of priority :
1. Find a Thunder Lancelot. If you find, follow like a shadow. 2. Find a Galahad. If you find, follow like a shadow. 3. Find a Gareth. If you find, follow like a shadow.
If no britbot around, it will depend on the situation. A Leo can be interesting. I try not following Griffin since that would negate their jump ability.
It's definitely funny. Of course, don't expect to be high in damage if your Carnage survives long. I had a case though in which my Carnage survived three minutes, and I still finished top-damage for my team with my remaining bots. We lost though so I can't see that as a success.

or a Rhino or Raijin. Does the Carnage height exceed the Galahad? I find Gareth's to be too fast actually.

Very cool experiment. A shame you don't get gold for it.

Using a galahad I have spawned with regular thunder carnage before, and knowing that they work well together I have tried to stick with them.
Except the moment lasers start flying, I put my shield up to protect - and they rush forward into the maelstrom.

For a bit of fun you could try this highly specialised line-up.
The double ancile carnage would work well on yamantau with a full squad, comms, 2 rhinos, 1 double ancile carnage, 1 plasma gareth/stalker (to kill pesky stalkers) and 2 mid range bots to flank.
Four rush centre, rhinos side by side up front, carnage behind, gareth/stalker protects the three infront from within the bubble against red stalkers.
Watch your opposition try until they give up, start dropping in ranged bots, then push forward to crush your enemies!

Hope you have protection from plasma weapons... My laser Galahad is coming for you... That's the problem !
And by the way, I think this method is actually a very elegant way of tanking. You still help the team, just you play for others. As you will not get damages you will tend to go lower rather than higher into the standings.
I'm not a tanker, never will. Just saying.

I'm not a tanker either. I'm just helping my team get past that sort of energy shield because I'm equipped to. Also, some may argue that you're a tanker for dealing no damage(I don't), but it's all a matter of perspective. I usually go after the big, strong robots anyways, but if my weapon type is needed, I'll come. The only reason you would be a priority for me is because your team would wreck without me.
