I just shuttered two threads worth a total of 14 pages of posts on the exact same topic. ANd you could summarize all fourteen pages in probably two sentences.
Short ones.
So for the rest of May, any thread whose topic is the ethics of tanking is going to get locked.
Let's take a break, eh? Find a new horse to beat.

Anyone else think of Stalkers when the subject of tanking gets brought up? I always think of Stalkers as the first bots that come to mind when tanking gets mentioned.

It's Fair to Rant about "anything" concerning War Robots but Tanking, anymore? Why could it not of simply been consolidated into a single Thread and/or moved to the Rant section?
Seems a little dystopian ..

Yes, I did use "Dystopian." Did you not read the OP's "Farewell" Thread. Where he was tired of reading, seeing and dealing with all the "BS" on the Forums..? Regardless, Ethical debates are important for both sides. I believe they should have been consolidated rather than "Locked" and silenced from discussion. I partly agree with the OP's reasoning, I disagree with recourse. |

He didn't want to mean the state of affairs was being described as hopeless, but that it was "totalitarian". I don't know why I'd make an SS of a noun form when it doesn't apply here.
