I'm hoping to find maps with dimensions/distances, anybody have a link to share? Would love to be able to figure out sightlines/distances to figure out a strategy that would fit my style of gameplay.

That's an interesting approach to strategy, but I don't know where you'd find that sort of thing.

Try the war robots wiki. I remember that there were some rough distances between beacons on some of the top down map pictures which should help. Search under the map name.
I would provide a link but at work and internet is too slow to search they the wiki right now.
