I just finished a TS battle, I was the only blue left and there were 2 reds when the timer ended and it was decided a Draw. I thought the reds would win because they had more bots left. Maybe it has to do with the number of bots killed (didn't look at post battle stats but I had 1 more bot in the hangar).
Looking closer at the TS email it says you have to destroy the entire opponent team to win. That seems relatively rare, there will be a lot of Draws. Is this really the only way to win? Wouldn't whoever kills the most bots wins make more sense in the case neither side is entirely meched out? Only being a Draw if equal number of kills.

Pixonic might want to get players to go for outright kills to get a win. This might change the meta.
So..snipers will have to adapt strategy as unless they confront the enemy then the game will draw. Same for missiles - cant spam at beacon cappers anymore as Team battle means "seek and destroy".
Having a full K.0. win condition will force players into a single objective - in the current game it's the balance of attack, cap beacon, defend beacon, attack etc
Just some thoughts and first impressions..

In the questionnaire, it says this: Finally a new game mode! This is just a test, but we are eager to check out how our matches are played without beacons at all. This time you can play on all maps excluding Yamantau and Springfield. In our opinion some major changes should be done to bring the new mode on these maps. However, you can try it in this rough form, even on the new map. Valley from the last test is still here, updated for TDM as well! The only way to win here is defeating the whole enemy team. If the timer hits 0 the team with most pilots left wins. Check this out and tell us what do you think about it now and what should be done to improve it. So it should award the win to the team with the most pilots left, but it doesn't. I mentioned it to them in the questionnaire.

So what happens if i know im going to lose so i just dont drop my last bot and wait for the timer. A draw is better than a loss. Hope pix has thought about that and puts something in place to prevent that like automatic spawn after 10 seconds if you don't pick a bot the system picks for you.

In terms of rewards, a loss is exactly the same than a tie...

Both team lose in a tie ---- a simply brilliant solution to stop 6 pilots from simply staying at spawn with 6 Furies of various setups.
I was worried that death matches would be determined by who did more damage and matches defaulting to Hydras, Tridents, and other mid-rangers. As it is now, you HAVE to be coordinated, aggressive, and have a mixed speed hangar to ensure a mech out, cause if it's down to 3-vs-1 and you are in brawlers, but the last red is a Stalker, the match will end in a tie.
I love the death match mode, except perhaps that it probably should be 4-vs-4 and MM guaranteed to ensure match pilots by league AND hangar slot number.

It's rather interesting, because you can determine who the winner will be after 5 minutes in every match I've played today. When a team is down 4 vs 6, it's just a matter of time.
Tons of fun though!

S If the system picked from the left or something then a valid strategy would be to put something like an ancilotte in your first slot. That way if you had a system glitch and were disconnected then it would drop a survivable bot that might win by just being there at the end.

There's problem with TDM players at the last minute are hanging on to the robots before they put them into the game to run the time out to have a draw .So they have to fix this there's too long of a waiting period for you to choose your robot to put into the game. They might have to up the time to 20 minutes and only have a 15 second choice. FOR YOUR NEXT robot and then you don't get in the game or whatever if you don't make that choice within 15 seconds devs no about this
