Obviously I'd prefer performance boosts, or better, skins that give performance boosts, but skins would be siqqqqqqqq.
As long as they don't cost gold, imma buy all the cossack skins.

Top skin might be tolerable if they put some nasty teeth on the skull, and removed the garbage from the knees. Its a Patton, nuke the Asian theme. The Spartan theme works because of the Warrior issue. Yea, the 2nd has the same intent, but doesnt work for me.
I dont want a new skin, I dont want a re-design, I dont want a stinkin color change! I WANT A FREAKIN ARMOR BUFF, AND A SPEED BUFF, AND I WANT IT NOW! Quit treating it like the med bot step-child!

Mechwarrior online did this crap.... your playing on the PC right. so some dev thought "hey!! let's make some flash items to make it look more like a personal cockpit!! like your desk at work!"
So they created these STUPID items! SWERE TO GOD!! and they cost real money too.
fuzzy dice
hula girl bobble head
ashtrey
baseball cap
ciggerett pack w/ matches
soda can
walking cane
coat hook
and more crazy crap......
and it took of like wild fire, people wanted fuzzy dice in diffrent colors, diffrent brands of cig's, zippo lighters.....you name it
foolish people and their money my father used to always say....

I like the idea. Allows top-tier players to put hoarded Au/WSP to use after they have everything. With recent game growth it's also good bussiness to profit off of new/P2P pilots. Customization brings a whole different feel to the game too - being demolished by a team of 6 neon pink Rhinos could be humbling. The actual themes could use some work though, maybe connect the paint to the suspected lore of the Bots.

Im all for customized skins. People want to spend $$ or gold. I want performance, but appeal to more players the better.....

Or your choice of Au or WP? Eh, WP costs a lot silver for somebody who might win 1-2M on any given day. Since I have my 5, I wouldn't scoff at using my dailys to buy skins with the Au. Would keep me from buying anything else before I get to 12. If it cost 7500 WP, that's still about 15 x 250k a day, or a mere 3.75M silver. 1200 Au might take the same time but it's free.

I think it's cool. I wish it would cost less gold. but also, its a revenue stream that isn't pay-to-win based.
