Ok so I am going to cut to the chase. I don't have 5 slots as I don't want to buy gold unless the game is worth putting money into. As I can seem to tell so far that would require a clan to pay with. Now this is where it becomes interesting. To join most clans of active players they all require 5 slots. As stated above I do not plan on paying for gold unless the game is worth the time its enjoyable but kinda boring getting clubbed by people in Geps running in groups. Not only is it not fun when that happens it just frustrating. Without the co-ordination of a team (using discord or other form of contact) trying to get a random team working together is well lets face it like trying to get blood out of a stone, except the stone is likely to bleed before someone works with ya.
So I came here looking for a clan. From what I can tell either the clans are aimed towards the higher gold level match making (I am assuming that's how its called from reading the forum) which I clearly am not at the level of so far. From playing solo I have managed to get to level 21 and still increasing. I am earning gold but I feel I could do better with a team to play with. If this was the case then I would likely put some money into the game to start unlocking other things such as bots and slots etc. So that's where the problem is, there are no clans aimed towards newer player's, or if there are then they don't post and from searching in game I cant find a English speaking EU clan.
So is there any clans out there who are able to help out or some suggestions would be good.
I only have 3 bot slots open so far currently saving the gold am earning for the 4th. I wont be posting my bots on here yet cos to be fair I have been playing for like 3 days and am sure you know as well as I do i have a few medium bots and have been upgrading them and weapons already like suggested on the forum.
So if there is anyone out there who could help please send me a message either on here, in a pm or in game my ID is HRYJSP. I'd even be willing to just play with a few people in the same situation since we can team up using the squad since I guess we can invite friens to play in squads together.
So yeah bit of a text wall, so I will end it here and hope that someone can help me out a bit.

Good news! Things are better than you think.
First, you'll never have to buy gold. Most players don't. You can, but even building a very top hangar can be done with patience. In fact, even if you buy gold you'll STILL need patience, so no worries.
Clans are great, just like you think. I highly recommend the wiki feeder for where you are right now, but other clans are available. Check in the Clans board.

Playing against Gepards can be a bit of a deterrent, I know. I was in the same situation not too long ago. I'd recommend you join the wikilings, as they have a low activity requirement and will be able to assist you with improving your hangar. Also for a bit of a handy guideline the beginning tiers are as follows:
Key: [BOT/WEAPONS]
LOW BRONZE: [4/6] light bots, [2/4] medium bots
HIGH BRONZE: [4/9] light bots, [4/6] medium bots

With respect, you're overrating Clans. To be abundantly clear, I'm not discounting Clans in any way, shape, or form. But the game isn't one big pit unless you're in one. I've been playing for two weeks and loving the game, no Clan. Yes, things will go more smoothly in many ways if you can coordinate with other players, but my win rate dances around 70%. That doesn't make me amazing, but it certainly makes my experience enjoyable.
YES you're going to find players who don't know what the hell they're doing. YES you're going to find players who ignore beacons, push you off a cliff, or sit stationary for too-long periods of time, but... you can also have a grand time developing your skills so that you'll be more attractive to a Clan later on if that's where you want to go. YMMV, as always, but for me, there may be a Clan in my future, but I want to enter it not as some neophyte needing fundamental skills training, but rather being a "diamond in the rough," maybe needing a little polish, but more than equipped to deal with battlefield complexities after having dealt with throw-ins and randos for teammates until that point.

To be fair, there are certainly entire clans who don't know what they're doing. ...but unless battlemaster blatantly lied (which seems extremely unlikely) he snapped himself into a clan already. (Although if I recall, Gargoyles styles themselves an anti-clan, whatever that means.) |

Fact is, until you get to high silver, you're gonna have to deal with Gepards.
I'd suggest just playing, having fun and learn how to play until the new MM comes out and see what happens. I don't think a clan will help as much as you think, because you will most likely not have a hanger strong enough to play with them.
You will learn faster by soloing as well. You are smart in making slot 4 your priority. Right now, focus on beacons, learning the maps and finding places to shoot from cover. Thunder schutz and a piñata destrier are good early learning bots that can do some damage and teach skills you will use later in the game.

Pre sure the wiki has more top tier players than the gargoyles will ever have... really would not pick a fight with top tier players coming down into silver.
Would be hilarious to watch tho, if pix makes a custom squad v squad thing as well as spectator mode, I'm all in for watching Battle Master get his words ingurgitated.
