Great,now beacon cappers and lights are really done for.If they only had CTF other than beacons.But hey,I love blowing up stuff more than running around in a nearly defenceless light.looking forward too

I'm sure the old beacon capping mode will still be available whenever they roll this out in the future. I'm really excited to see pix responding to commentary from the player base. We are in for a good evolution for the game imo.

Team Death Matches will need some sort of rule/system to stop camping. E.g. Most kills wins. Every second stationary results in a 1k HP loss. Something along those lines. Else people will just set up kill zones and wait for bots to wander in. Then they'll say Pixonic 'allows it' because they've figured out a way to game the system.

I'm actually really excited for them to implement this into the live server.
Not because I want to play deathmatch mode, but because it will remove the deathmatch-style players from the beacon-control matches.

I personally can't wait! Just go in brawling. Though I would love to see a kinf of the hill type of match. We all fight for the center beacon only.

I have played this way a few times many months ago when there was a GLITCH?? The beacons never turned. It was alot of fun just trying to destroy each other. When the timer ran out nothing happened..... we just kept battling till we destroyed all the reds then just left the game. I dont think that glitch has happened at all this year.

The deathmatch game mode is fun, the side effect being that games are significantly longer. My previous test server videos were typically between 3 and 5 minutes. The latest videos have been running out the clock; neither team has mech'd out, yet.
