I used to get super pissed when I saw people doing this...until I watched my 4 yo son playing. He loves the game but has no clue (I am working with him lol). I set him up on IOS with a new profile, built it up a little for him. I have a feeling that there are lots of very young players (someday great players but not yet). I now take it with a grain. If I have a bunch of newbies, I just do the best I can. The new tier system will make it not such a penalty for losing as long as you have done your part.

That's the path I took also right now... I'm winning because my teammates are good/my opponents are idiots? Good! I'm loosing because of the opposite? Better. So I don't have to get my league up too fast, and have it without any tanking involved

Tanking, Leaver queue, clubbing, leagues, smurfing, fading... Pix should see that it's time to realize the fact, that the reality is different than any mathematical "let's hope so" ideas. Once mm allowed vast range of hangars to be in 1 game, the speculation game started and there is no way the dev can outsmart the large player population just by stick & carrot (yeah, where is that one lol) play. There will be more "funny terms" showing up from both camps (players & devs) to counter new mm mechanics manipulations pix attempts to implement. We've been through several iterations of this ?Cow Chips? and it's obviously the old armor vs projectile race / spiral. There is only 1 way out of it and it was yelled out all the time since new mm exploded into players face...hangar levels must be the major/final/deciding factor in mm. Until then the incentive to tank will be good enough to trigger all the funny named behaviors that are killing the game as we speak. Going to a hangar-based MM might be best, but only if it incorporated league restrictions as well. Or rather, account age restrictions or something, so that tanking wouldn't be an option. My concern would be that anyone with a decent amount of experience would use such a system to monopolize gold bonuses. I scrapped the first War Robots account I made and restarted. I remember it was insanely easy for me to get top damage and medal of capture every single game for quite a while simply because my teammates were clueless. I still get that regularly, but now I have to work for it. If I were Pix, I'd be worried that a hangar-based MM would be an impediment to the game's growth. I mean, if I'd felt completely outmanouvered when I first started playing, I wouldn't have continued. For that matter, I'm not so arrogant that I think I would do well against a legendary player equipped with an identical hangar. Skill is something they have tried to quantify in this MM, and I understand why, even if the results are sometimes frustrating.

I completely understand what's going on because I've seen it myself. It happens all the time in silver league three. You know it's bad when you can run all the way across the map in a small fast robot almost unopposed and when you get to the other side of the map you find five Natasha's all standing around their spawn point lobbing Rockets across the field and doing little else. I am almost at the point of believing they are not real players at all but Bots that pixonic loads into the game in order for you to win to keep your 50% win rate up or at least a minimum 50% and I have tested this Theory by putting brand new box with basic weapons in and still win even though the enemy forces based on their hangers are far superior. There is definitely something funny going on with this game. It doesn't affect how much fun I have playing it but it does seem strange that the red team never leaves their spawn point to even take anything but their home Beacon guaranteeing they lose.
Not to mention it's not much fun and I have no intention of sitting on the other side in the blue spawn point lobbing rockets at them as well because at that point what's the point of playing.

I'm with you, my seven year old plays my account sometimes (even though he has his own...Daddy's robots are cooler..) and he has no idea about weapon ranges and strategy, he's just unloading the DB Griff from 800m. My son is having a blast, even though he can't hit the broad side of a barn with a Taran. My best advice is pay more attention to how fun the game is and less about the statistics in the profile.
