I'm a Gold player and I've played about 10 games today. I either get matched with 12/12 players - Expert or Champions level - or there are only 3 players on my team. One game there were only 2 of us against 3 reds. Has the Ransomeware issue affect the Pix servers?

Dunno if this is news or an announcement. But. Have you been skipping or dropping matches? Sounds like you might be in the tanker purgatory. I'm no expert, though. I haven't heard anything about the game having any issues beyond the typical, normally occurring ones. Hopefully someone comes along who can better address your question. Good luck ?

I'm not deliberately tanking, but I have had connection issues today. For about 10 games tried to start a game and the load would get to the countdown and then I'd get the blue go to hangar button. If I've been put in tanker purgatory how long do I stay there?

Well, sounds like you may have inadvertently wound up there. I hope your connection issues improve. As far as I know, you have to play without dropping until your negative score is cleared. Pixonic hasn't been super clear on exactly how to do this to avoid exploitation of the system. Just play regular and see if that works after about 10-20 matches. If not, You may have to try e-mailing Pixonic to ask about it. Not that it'll help, but it can't hurt, I reckon. Best of luck resolving your issue. And again, hopefully someone better informed comes along to more thoroughly answer your question. I really don't know that much about it.

I am experiencing similar problems, I usually place first, second, and on a stretch third, but I just had a massive losing streak for 23 battles.

Thanks CR, it's a relief to hear I'm not the only one having a problem. I do wonder whether the internet is struggling today. Our internet at work today was affected by all the stuff going on elsewhere.

I am expert 2 and have seen several gold players in matches so far today. These were solo player not running in a team.

after i've leveled my galahad at level 4 i been getting lost like mad. right we're about to win and the game decided to turn around and we lose. it almost as if the game is teasing us, forcing us use real money to buy better bots and excel further.

In one game the opposition was 3 Champion/Expert players, a player from the beginner's level, some level 1 weapons and bots, and two non-players.

Good luck ? my hangar look like this : 7 Rhino = orakan (2)*8 + pinata (2)*8 7 griffin = Magnum (2)*6 + Taran (2)*7 4 Galahad = Magnum (2)*4 + Taran (1)*5 6 Griffin = Magnum (2)*7 + Taran (2)*7 Galahad has been my latest bot purchase and after leveling couple levels up on the weapons and the bot , I have been losing a lot lately . it been making me mad lately causing me to rage quiet . I am able to see a predictable pattern how the game system is matching me up against with other opponents. It as if the Pixsonic is teasing me to buy gold bot and spend on gold to speed upgrade to get the highest weapon level as possible. I try my best in supporting my team. The game just set me up and punish me with no mercy . When the game start, if my team isn't running a gold bot or WS point bot, I am leaving. It's predictable to be able to see these flaw pattern, so there is no point of me staying before or middle of the game.

If you leave before the end of the game you're making it harder for your team to win, and if you get a 5th slot you are able to play for longer. It might help to watch a few YouTube videos for tips on how to improve your game play, as well as how best to use your robots.
It also takes time to level up. There's a benefit to this, as it helps you to learn how best to use your robots. Griffins are silver bots but they are used extensively at the very top levels so buying gold bots isn't going to help if your game play skills are low.
You could also try switching your weapons around, for example try your orkans on the griffin or use pinatas with the orkans on your rhino. I have one rhino and it has taken quite a bit of time to learn to use it. I'm not sure how you attack with your rhino, maybe if you attack direct try an indirect attack. Load one of your rhinos up with molots and Molot mk 2s and sit off at a distance gradually working your way to the centre.
I'm not sure if any of this helps. Normally I get matched with some weak teams and then with some strong teams, mostly from gold level. Today it was crazy, either over the top strong or totally unplayably weak.

Something seems strange.
I just played a 4v4 on Yama. Earlier I played against a full Master's squad when no one on my team was in a squad.
In fact, the last few days my matches have resembled pre-LQ matches. Played very little over the weekend because of it... figured it may have been due to the event but it's not looking like that's the issue.
I know I SHOULDN'T be in the LQ. I don't leave/skip, tank, or have connection problems. I may shoot them an error report in-game to make sure though. Something is definitely wrong with my matches lately.

My simple solution to fix this is use strategically centered bots such as Gareth, a mix of durability, speed, and damage, and requiring highly skillful gameplay for success. This way, you individual performance is used for the gameplay, and you are getting matched more fairly.

Things seem to be returning to normal, as in I'm starting to play with and against 4 bot hangar players and not all 12/12 Ancillots. I have seen so many Ancillots over the past 48 hours its scary. Still have games where we get pounded but not as frequently now. Actually it's been a good experience as I've had to do a major reshuffle of bots and weapons and come up with survival strategies. I even used my Gekko which I thought I'd never use. I was quite impressed really. Played a great game today, after losing a couple of heavy bots I brought on my stalker and ran around the canyon map capturing beacons. The heavies against us couldn't get around fast enough and they ran out of time. All credit to my teammates too who kept buzzing around the heavies in Cossacks and Gareths.
