Well.. im playing in bronze tier with
Destrier lv 1.. 2 ep magnum lvl 7
Destrier lv 1... 2 ep magnum lvl 7
Destrier lv 1.. 2 ep magnum lv 7
Shutz lv 1.. 1 thunder lv 6
Winning rate of 70%.. some match i be been destroyer by ee aphids or gepards.. but.. when i dont find any of them i usually win..
Well.. the question is.. should i get for a better rate, to survive, to kill aaaand to farm gold... would it be better to get 4 stalkers with 2 ep magnum each.. or save for 4 gepards with ep magnum?
Should i get the 5th slot before or after this?

I wouldn't get four of either, but the Gep sure seems like the best silver tier farmer.
Geps are great with Mags, Aphids and Pinatas.

The community is not much a fan of clubbers (mag gep'ers), Geps are useless other than bronze tier, stalkers are very fragile, if you want to cap beacons, go rhino or any other non-fragile bot.
Fifth slot is very important. Especially in higher tier games.

4 stalkers sounds amazingly boring. And 4 Geps is a waste of gold. If you really want a Gep, get 1 only. It's a great capper and 1 MagGep isn't clubbing. I use my Aphid Gep still in High Silver and it is still more than effective. Or if you really like the idea of the stalker, I wouldn't get more than 1, 2 if you become a very good stalker pilot. Ide say get 2 Tarans and 2 golems and go thunderMagTar golem from here along with your stalker or Gep, try CRVPIN Patton aswell l, it's a great medium midrange. Consider going AG mediums and get thunders and pins and save for 5th spot. 5th hanger with an AG setup is more valuable than gold bots. Can't count how many bot out battles were won because I had 5 bots to last the entire brawl.

Over and over again, the answer is always 5th slot. You'll have to have it eventually.
70% win rate is very good, so I don't think you need to worry about improving that. Gold farming with just Thunder Shutzes is a well established practice, so 5th slot and another Shutze should turn out profitable for you.
I farm in low silver with all mediums (and one gepard for emergencies) and can easily get 5k gold in a month-ish.

Or if you really like the idea of the stalker, I wouldn't get more than 1, 2 if you become a very good stalker pilot. I doubt he will be able to do any farming with the Stalker because of the MM penalty for WSP bots. My Stalker has been mothballed for months. |

All good advice here. Definitely concentrate on unlocking your slots first. Think and be mindful of the future. I made the mistake of investing in (upgrading) bots that I simply can't use (don't survive) in high gold. My Golem, Vityaz, sadly my beloved Rog, and recently I've mothballed all but one of my Rhinos, which will soon be replaced too.

Fifth slot is very important. Especially in higher tier games. Whether or not SOME in the community are not fans of the MagGeps is based on personal and pilot issues. Irrelevant to bot choice. Using a MagGep does not mean you are a clubber. Yes, the Stalker is brittle. Get the 5th slot first, then a MagGep, and a AphidMag. If you want to farm, try lvl 4 Schutzes, with lvl 6 Thunders - all silver weapons and bot. |

I think their one of the more unique and beautiful weapons to see out they're on the battlefield. I almost never see them any more because they just aren't very effective. |

I've said this before... give me a Gekko-T as an option and I will rock 'em on a Griff along with plain old light Gekkos... each one a different color. I'll be the rave you never wanted to go to. Get that Raven paint job... the Rave Raven... hehe  But seriously... I actually like pulling them out every now and again and using them on a Patton or a Leo with a Kwk... never in a serious game... but as was said, they are so unique that I sometimes use 'em just because. Have to use em in Silver though, as I have not put much into upgrading them... useful weapons before troll weapons. (Although... our resident War Robots Documentary maker did use them quite effectively in his most recent video...) |
