I am not getting correct damage totals. Sorry if this is an old topic. I am new to the forums. I have a calculator and the number of rockets x damage per rocket on my rhino is a nice round 60k. I have tested this a couple times bye running this bot and no other. I will put just one or two full volleys into an opponent and since our team is holding 4 beacons I will hide and wait for the fast win. The damage is never right. I got 44k on what should have been a 60 k hit full frontal on a stationary bot. The perfect test.I have 4 bars 4g. A great solid connection with Verizon on iOS. Often times bots simply walk away from my rockets and I do no damage at all. I am referring to my piñata. Mainly. The others with greater splash seem to be more consistent. Any work around? How do I achieve the best hit with my rockets?

Got it worked out. Piñata are a slower rocket. You really have to be patient and lead your target correctly or not all rockets hit. Even a stationary target will miss if you don't make sure your bot is aimed correctly. We really don't need any rocket damage buffs but The constant fire on my piñata will be nice. I need it vs orkans

Yep you need to lead your target. The faster the bot the more you need to lead them.

this is what really chaps my 「bum-bum」. 60k worth of rockets fired point blank. Barely scratched him. This is what helps make shield bots OP. Because rockets are not garunteed like plasma to hit your target.

Been really getting smashed bye orkans and hydra lately. Time to set the game down. Really frustrating to get full healthed bye someone. I can only take about half a bots health if I am lucky. These orkan guys just send an endless stream of rockets till death while the pu55y with hydra hits you too from across the map behind a rock... The game is stagnating.... You see orkan griffin, plasma griffin, shield bots is 80% of the enemy. With a pepper of snipers and Leo thunder piñata set ups.... BORING!!!!!!!

I love the War Robots fan boys that tell you to run away from shield bots. This guy followed me until I was dead. And again orkans. I get killed bye orkans 7 out of 10 deaths. Can't wait for them to get a buff.... I need $1000 so I can have a full 12/12 set up. This game has no grind. The little dribble of gold you get is a joke. Millenials have ruined Mobil gaming. No more grinding.... Just spend $1000 on gold.... Get that 5th slot a couple premium bots with premium weapons. Let's teach our kids hard work equals sh1t. Just buy your way to the top.

:-D
Sorry, but you are wrong here. First of all, shieldbots. They are trash if you can't pilot it. They are NOT overpowered. Second - you CAN deal a lot of damage with Pinata to a FAST running bot. Just need to learn to lead target a little.
Here, let me show you what I mean:
Then to claims about 1000 dollars you need to spend. You don't need to. And you do NOT need gold bot\weapons to be competitive. You just need to learn your tools. If you were killed by a Gekko\Orkan Gareth who "followed me until I die" - then you are playing your bots wrong, or choosing bots that are NOT suitable to your gameplay style.
You might try Trident\Spiral Natasha, for example. Or All-Molot Griffin. These guys are pretty safe and calm to play, no need to run around like crazy. I am a little bit younger than you, but I played MechWarrior on my AMD 5x68 back in school, so I'm not a "millenial".
Try to experiment with different weapons and see what you like the most, it should help.

That's where my $1000 comment came from. So I am a try hard. And I made it to diamond league with base level bots and a low comprehension of bots and weapons. So you see my frustration stemmed from facing 12/12 bots in an average of a level 7 bot. I thought I needed to buy level 12 bots and weapons. Once I understood the MM I realized I needed to move back down to gold. Learned my bots a little better and whoa!!!! No more frustration. Gold to diamond is a big jump. Took a little to understand. Now I am a bot 9 with some 10s in gold league tearing it up. $50 and some patience. Not a $1000. I could spend that and have a full max hanger... But now I learned how to play.

You know what I've done recently - I put completely new hangar of bots, and sink from Diamond 2 all the way back to Gold 2. I like my new bots (they are WW bots, three Jesse's and two Doc's), and I'm having A LOT of fun playing them. I don't care for League standing at all, and the most fun part in game for me is to have a close match. Or, on the second place, is to win against higher level bots, both of which are pretty possible when you play lower league than you used to =) Oh, and don't forget that there are always some lag. So your damage might take place second later after your shot (you can see that clearly on my video, btw)
