This little blog is going to serve as a place for me to post as I slowly progress up the ranks. I'd consider this to be a successor thread of sorts to this where I got some excellent advice from forum veterans:

First Promotion to Silver 2: Date 3/4/17

First Promotion to Silver 2: Date 3/4/17
At this point I was in love with my Leo. I was building a Molot Griffin and was starting to discover the whole 'RDB' thing. My Natasha was even then just a placeholder bot till I could afford better goodies.
First Promotion to Silver 1: Date 17/4/17
My RDB had started to take shape and I was finally starting to understand range and how to maximise damage output. My top damage dealer was however consistently the Leo.
First Promotion to Gold 3: Date 3/5/17
Major points: I got the Fifth slot due to a major chest win. I also acquired a bunch of random gold weapons (no bots) which I will try to incorporate in to my game where possible. The 2 Gekkos I acquired seem a complete waste, however the 3 aphids I now own seem to have some interesting potential.
In other news: I finally swapped out my Natasha for a Thunder Carnage. However I haven't really upgraded it. A key impediment is I can't decide how many Thunders I will run with long term. If 3, I would upgrade the Carnage's Thunder's no problem (2 for Carny, 1 for a future Lancelot perhaps). If it's 2, then there isn't really a point to upgrade any till I figure out what I want to really do. Besides more pinch points seem to come up all the time with my bots. Another major change has been the introduction of the Taran-Aphid Griffin instead of the Molot Griffin. I've had zero luck with this build so far).
Current Hangar (8/5/17)
Obviously not that much different to the previous hangar with the exception of the T-Rex Stalker prize, however it is about to go a major structural shift due to having nearly 5k Gold.
My current thinking is to dismember the Aphid-Taran Griffin(!). I'll place the Aphids on the Stalker (not a bot I like it seems but let's see how it goes with some upgrades). I'll take the Tarans and place them on a Lancelot. I already own an Ancille (another chest opening). I should therefore have a Tarancelot - Leo - RDB - Thunder Carny - Stalker.
This should be enough to keep me going for a couple of months. Medium term, I could replace the stalker with a Galahad though I'm not sure how good Aphids are on a Galahad. Alternatively it can become a Stuka Griffin for less gold and possibly more damage.
