Hello to all you jedi pilots out there.
I'm new to war robot I love it so far and I've been playing war robots for couple of months and I'm in silver League III. Right now I'm having a lot of trouble progressing on my rank. Every match the system decided to give me 50/50 ratio win.
I want hear from the champion player's out there what your experience journey was like in the process of getting into the champion League. Was it a breeze, was it a struggle for you and so forth. I also would like to know how you dealt with it during the process , especially the current MM state its in.

Snuck in through the backdoor after I found the front door blocked by a wall of 12/12 Lancelots. Kept trying to advance, kept getting slaughtered the moment I moved into Gold by the Experts and Champions infesting it and would shrivel back into Silver. Once I almost made it to Diamond and was subjected to a lose streak against uber bots that drooped my win to 30%. This repeated enough times that I just started tanking to avoid the entry into Gold that would just ruin my experience and make me want to quit the game. Got moved to the Leaver Queue. Breezed through the ranks and got into Champion League in about three weeks of casual play with a steady win rate about 60-70%

Do more damage. Even if you have a 50% win ratio, if you are in the top 3 every time, you will eventually advance leagues.

1. Buy 5x Lancelots, 2x Anciles, 6x Orkans, 3x Thunders, 4x Tarans and maybe a shiny skin for some of them. 2. Upgrade everything to level 12. 3. Play.
Or you could just go in to LQ and earn a 'fake' Champion tag which I currently hold.

Caveat: I'm on Android, I have been playing regularly since November 2015, and am in a top-tier clan.
I started the league system, in late January, placed at the very bottom of Expert 3. My hangar consisted (and still does) of a Galahad, Griffin, 2 Lancelots (no Ancile at the time) and a Trident Fury, bots at level 11 with level 11/12 weapons. The way the league points worked in February all I did was play for max damage and so I just kept going up and up, win or lose.
During the month of February, through lots of solo play and squad play (about 50/50) I accrued the 1800 points needed to move into Champions league right before the 1st season ended. During that time I finished maxing all of my bots and weapons, including an Ancile which I bought with spare gold.
Since then, at the start of the season I am placed into Master 1 and move back up into Champions league in about 2 days, playing about an hour on most days.
The things that helped me most to get into an stay in Champions league: 1. Have skill and battlefield awareness 2. Already have a max/near--max hangar of the current meta bots (Griffin, Lancelot, Galahad, Carnage and Fury) and weapons 3. Be in a good clan so when you squad you are more likely to win 4. Be in a good clan that can teach you strategies for each map, and learn to trust your squadmates to do their jobs 5. Learn to identify good clans on the RED team during the countdown. If the reds are a clan and the blues are a bunch of no-clan randoms you do not recognize, either play solely for top damage or drop before the countdown ends. That will reduce the number of times you are matched up against a full clan squad and get slaughtered.

No one mentioned this but I will: forget about what league your are in. Play to have fun, try out a few things, read the forums, ask for advice, join a clan and enjoy the journey.

His damage stats and win stats do not look like LQ to me.

Max your hanger and then tank, tank, tank until you make the Leavers Queue(that's Pixonic's cute name for the 「fluffernutter」t*rds league) and then rise through the ranks like the phoenix. I'm in the LQ as punishment for refusing to participate in numerically lopsided matches. I recognize about 1/3 or more of the Legends League Champions from trying to play against their 11-12 bots with my 7-9 bots. All hail the conquering douchebags!!

I was hovering at Masters for a month or two, but the recent changes to the rewards system after each match thrust me into Champions. Losing streaks due to sucky random blues, didn't impede my ratings rise anymore as I typically would be in the top 3 on the losing team.
I also had to change my plasma dominant line-up to a more competitive one in the current rocket meta:
Previous Line-up: 11/11 Plasmahad, 10/11 Plasma Griff, 10/11 Thunder/Ork Lance, 11/11 Plasma Ancilot, 10/11 Tri Fury Current Line-up: 10/10 RDB Griffin, 11/11 DB Griffin, 11/11 Plasma Ancilot, 11/11 Ork Ancilot, 10/11 Tri Fury

You don't have to tank to get into LQ. If you don't play certain maps like spring then it will put you in LQ.

I just made Masters Tier today. I recently changed my hangar around as well. I swapped out my Plasmahad for rdb Griffin. Rest is same, I do regularly rotate my hangar to keep things freshhhhh. - L10 Lancelot w L12 Tarans / L10 Ancile or L11 Thunder - L9 Griffin (3×) w L12 db / L11 Stuka / L10 rdb - rotate L8 Fury / L9 Carnage w L11 Tridents or mix up & run Carnage w Thunders L11/L9 and put Ancile on Lancelot. Man that upgrade cost is steep!! Bought the Prem pack for 40 day special to keep up the Ag.

I also would like to know how you dealt with it during the process , especially the current MM state its in. Not Champion yet but.... Made Masters Tier today, started the leagues in Gold I. Hangar was around 8/9. Beginning in Leagues hangar was: rotating -2x Griffins db / rdb / pdb -Rhino w 1 of above load outs -Plasmahad -Leo L7 w Thunder / Mags or Pinatas or Aphids -Carnage w Thunders or Tridents I took everything to level 9. As I progressed it became more apparent that the Rhino was just not a match for me. I leveled it to 9, max speed etc.... but was still frustrating to pilot and performance was very erratic. I parked it brought out my Leo (only leveled to 7), it was stand in as I was saving for Lancelot. The Lance!! King of the Brawlers That was next purchase, I was in Diamond league by then and ahead of my clan, so started running mainly solo. I occasionally join a squad or start one, but 90% run solo. My favorite weapon was/is Orkan and could not wait to wreck some bots with it on my Lance, the thing was I had to take it off my Griffin. I tried it back and forth, and although my only thought was Thunder/Orkan Lance, my favorite bot is the Griffin and running that without Orkans was worse than runnning Lancelot with Orkans. So I put the Tarans on the Lance and have not looked back. The Ancilot was really just starting to become a thing and filtering out of Champion leagues, it was not on my list as of yet. I started to take most weapons to L10, but that is when I started to vary levels by bot / use. I took weapons on Plasmahad & Lancelot up 1st and even brought some to L11 before finishing others to L10. Next saving was for Fury. The Fury - TT, scourge of all knifers I didnt want a Fury, I needed a Fury. I did not really want to slowlllyyy walk around the back of map waiting to reload & blast a target, but it was crystal clear I needed the firepower. It was not useful until Tridents were up L8/L9 but then it really starts to do some damage. Also locating the tactical points on each map is crucial to success. The last weapons I upgraded to L10 were TT Fury. I started taking this approach to upgrading: Weapons 1st always, rather deal more damage than be able to take more damage! When leagues started & now with latest update, damage is paramount to improving and rising through the leagues. Also, when you are running solo, there are turning points in battles when you need to just go for damage to maintain points. Being able to balance beacons and damage is key to be able to rise at a consistent rate. My hangar has consistently been lower in levels in bots/weapons and tiers while rising through the leagues. You will continually get unbalanced / unfair matches and take set backs in War Robots and lose levels in tiers as well. When approaching next level, it appears that battles can become more challenging and several times I fell back trying to break into next level or right after reaching next level I fall back. This will continually occur and remember that you did not get close to the next level without being a consistent player. You might need to get the next weapon or bot level to put you over the top. Also, when something in battle catches my eye, I review red & blues to see what was in the battle or check levels etc.... I also have found great tactical points by watch other reds and blues. Dont always spawn right away look around at reds and there could be useful info and what bot to pick next to counter reds. Change things up to get different / better results, if you always go to left on a map change up and go right. Change your starting bot or the order you use them. A forum memeber has a great saying on his avatar something like "Its not what you do when you know what you doing, its what you do when you dont know what to do next!" I always liked 'Do something different to expect something different'. My hangar change with update, I pulled out Plasmahad and put in 3rd Griffin as rdb. The Griffin was L6 & weapons were alreday 9/10, so I leveled it straight up to L9. The rdb is very versatile for me, great change for me from the Plasmahad. I have 1 day left on my db Griffin to be L10, then will take rdb weapons to L11. Current hangar: -In my post above Hope that helps

That's a pretty competitive hangar you got and should serve you well in Masters and in reaching Champions. Similar to you I'm running out of silver at around Level 11 bots & weapons. I've done premium for a month now and would probably need to continue for a couple more to max my setup.

Ignore the your league standing if you want to enjoy the game...well unless you are really competitive and good at playing this game. I rather enjoy the small victories within a game than be concerned with winning/losing league points. No one is going to judge you by your league position. Try out new tactics and bots configuration and have fun instead!
