Looking for a relaxed clan for Casual Gaming. I'm not in the 1 Million Damage Club yet, but I'm close. I Do Not Discord, or anything like that, as I often play quietly during slow work hours. I'm not looking for a competitive clan, just a safe place to Squad for that 9 Au. I'm not opposed to being "a team player" but need prompting thru Clan chat or Squad Chat. I don't Discord, I don't do "Social Media" groups. (Ok, I *might start a War Robots FB page but I wouldn't be on there very often). I've been tanking for the event, so my rank is a little lower than normal. I'm usually around 1400+ Casual offers only please.

Once you say you tank, that makes clans not really want you.

Thanks Dredd but we are trying to be competitive and use Dischord, neither are things this pilot is interested in. We are looking to build a family, not a group of lone wolves

Seems like just yesterday it was only four of us and I was thinking " how in the world am I going to get 30 more decent players?" . Build it and they will come.

Dredd77, no.....we only have two tankers that I'm aware of and it's not something I promote. Although, I do turn a blind eye to it so long as it doesn't affect our clan nor the squads. I have thought of doing it myself but just can't seem to pull the trigger, I'm happy with the matches I get for the most part fighting the traditional way.

I'm not sure if any of them started out that way....but neither did Golden Sabre 's.

Fill a void! Imagine- NITRO SQUAD (Sabre) Nitro Juniors (Ms. Sabre) GAS TANK (Blastronaut)

........hmmmmmmm, I may have to weigh the potential pros and cons of that. It's really not something I feel comfortable with at first glance. What if Pix decided to actually punish tankers, what then? I have 4500au spent and 108 banned pilots ?

My next thought Dredd77 , is do we want to be the most hated clan on War Robots? I still hate the Flex clan because they were known clubbers back when I was getting clubbed

I still hate the Flex clan because they were known clubbers back when I was getting clubbed Taking off my anti-exploit hat for just a moment, there's something to be said for your "overall neutral" position. Maybe that's your selling point, your differentiator: neutrality. Leave your moralizin' and sanctifyin' at the door, we're just here to blow up robots. You in? Tankers, clubbers, anti-tankers, anti-clubbers, whatever- if they're good team players, you've got a place for them, leave the petty squabbling to the armchair ethicists on the Wiki Forum. Here's a concept I threw together on that, based on elements of neutrality (Switzerland), flames (nitro), and a no-nonsense approach. Just a concept to illustrate, not an actual suggestion. I've obviously got no skin in the game, except I like you guys and I'd like to see you do well. But if I may say so, you guys could use a "brand" that sets you apart, much as we have in AN. Look at all the "Clan X is recruiting, come play with us!" The question anyone should ask themselves is, why? What makes Clan X different from any other clan. If someone could go to a dozen clans, why would they choose Nitro Squad?

I still hate the Flex clan because they were known clubbers back when I was getting clubbed Here's a concept I threw together on that, based on elements of neutrality (Switzerland), Damn good job Dredd, for American! You've hit the nail in the head with Switzerland motive. I wouldn't pull such a ghost from the chest myself, unfortunatelly it fits precisely. The above mentioned neutrality means "If I see evil, I will stand aside. If I can profit on that evil, I'll do so." To get the correct connotation, I recommend Wikipedia article "Switzerland during the World Wars", part "Financial relationships with Nazi Germany". It was Swiss neutrality that has helped to prolong the hell. The way it corresponds to ditching/tanking/seal clubbing is that in case you have not experienced being at the beaten side, many things can be used with light heart. If you have, it's no fun. For American, "neutral as Switzerland" might sound smart. However, it has completely different meaning in Central Europe (for those who know history). The ghost is dead, but the stories are still alive. Where I live, you can actually touch it. Folks, I like having fun, but won't bear this banner.
