Do you prefer just the game sound, game sound and music, or just music if you were to watch War Robots videos? I've been recording some games lately and will probably do something with some of them if I can stop playing long enough. I'm not trying to be the next Adrian Chong or anything but I might as well make them as presentable as possible.

For my recordings, I just leave the sound on, if the view wants to listen to music, just mute the video and play something in the background I've thought about the idea of cutting game audio and adding some music, but there's a lot of copyrights on youtube, so if you want to use music, go NCS

Actually if you're keen on using music and not so much about making money off your videos, most artists will allow you to use their music in exchange for the revenue from your video. See more here: www.youtube.com/music_policiesAnd just as an example here's a video in which I used 3 copyrighted songs recorded straight from whatever I was listening to on Spotify at the time

And you didnt get any copyright strikes? No, otherwise I wouldn't still have a YouTube account. Lol

I make both live fire sound videos and music only videos. Some of my videos I blend both. I use youtube editor to add free to use music from the youtube audio library.

I don't like videos lacking the explosion and shooting sounds and if a person doesn't have some sort of music in the background it just comes across as weird. I will admit I mute most videos because I don't feel like the music works for many videos however.
So uh... to recap I think videos edited with music come across as way more professional and interesting. I am unlikely to even watch a video without the sound effects.
