Finally - and for me it has more to do with Pixo actually delivering upon their commitments than the actual leavers. Pixo created LQ as a way to discourage the disruption in game play....but they made it attractive. By eliminating or diminishing rewards, they will deliver upon their statements. Nope, we will all just move out of the LQ to ruin your regular matches.

Yes, that is EXACTLY what I was saying. "but if Pix decides to remove the rewards, then I really have no ability to obtain gold, other than paying real money, making this game blatantly Pay to Win in some circumstances. " I don't think I said what you said at all. If Pix removes rewards from the Leavers Queue to dis-incentivize quitting, and yet a player continues to quit on games, said player really has no cause to accuse Pix of running a Pay to Win game. In that scenario, Pix would still give rewards to those that play. All the quitter needs to do to earn free rewards is, you know, stop quitting and play.

I think they need to introduce decent rewards for climbing the leagues then that will make the world of difference. It also didn't help that they introduced an event which incentives Tanking before fixing the leagues. I think it they just made it so you got no event reward at the top gold you could win was 3 for top place and 3 for beacons that might be enough.

So many on this forum have a curious vacillation between sheer joy at every announcement of further punishment to "leavers" and sheer rage and despondency in quite threads when they have finally had enough of the matchmaking and aren't going to play the game anymore. It's very bizarre and almost manic in nature. It's almost as if theyhave taken all of the problems and unhappiness caused by the matchmaking and transferred them onto "leavers" and "tankers" and map skippers in some sort of grand scapegoating, an elaborate slight of hand for their own psyche. In any event, I'm not going to subject myself to the standard match fixing queue just for gold. A rigged game isn't worth playing. And apparently now people who appreciate completely randomized match making over rigged match making are going to be punished. Why? Not sure. Something about "abusing the system." It's the system that abuses the players. In the end I see even less people playing the game, and a sooner end altogether.

The LQ was not intended to be an alternate universe of War Robots. It was intended to be a jail to reform those who would not live up to the implied "social contract" of War Robots - fight all battles to completion.
But since it was implemented in haste and with little thought to consequences, it just became another exploit. I an always shocked when an exploiter, who has already demonstrated what they will do to obtain abundant quantites of game resources, complains when that source is cut off. This is not the first time PIX has eliminated such exploits.
There is a long history and this is just the most recent addition. As far as i understand the reduction in rewards will not happen immediately, but it is going to happen. Time to straighten up and comply with the "contract" by joining the rest of the War Robots community and playing the game instead of trying to find shortcuts and other exploits.

Once rewards are removed you will have "fading". Like a fat kid in a soccer game he does not wanna play...half assing it and trying to loose without getting called out and penalized...
Fading will be the only workable tactic, but losses are not guaranteed when doing it...so its a gigantic pain in the sphincter...
As for Tankers simply being spiteful and simply ruining games because they are hate filled priks... Well, there you are.
Hope Pix makes the 2 modes so we don't have to put up with it anymore..

Did not say one could not complain. One has the right to complain and should if the system is broken. But tanking, sandbagging, fading and any exploit which harms another player's experience, especially an ally is a violation of an unspoken social contract of the game. When we live in communities, we expect our neighbors to watch out for and protect our interests as much as we watch and care for theirs. Matchmaking is broken and the general consensus agrees with that. But leaving an allied team shorthanded has nothing to do with the brokenness of matchmaking because we can also accuse the fact that upgrades are expensive and take far too long to complete. The primary reason in my opinion people leave is to get where it is easy to accumulate gold, silver so they can shortcut the upgrade system. Leaving has little to do with the unfairness of matchmaking and lot to do with getting more gold.
additionally, recently, PIx tweaked matchmaking. Do not know if you noticed it or not but the current system is a bit more fair. Instead of a regular diet of masters and champions reaching into the dismond league, they are gone. In diamond, i face other diamonds. I face my peers. Is it still broken? My opinion is under review.

Please, help me understand:
"Tankers" and "Punch-outs" willfully exploit the MM. They are placed in a separate area, whereby they were able to gain Awards otherwise not obtainable by regular play. Pixonic adjusted the Awards system to better reflect the purpose and intent of the "Leaver's Queue."
Why did Pixonic create the 'Que? Because abandoning a Team causes that Team to Lose. Bringing a Mecha, that is clearly superior to anything else on the battlefield is not in the interest of fair-play. Understand that when these conditions are introduced you are willfully and with malicious intent disrupting the Players' and affecting their experience .. and you asked to be Rewarded for this..? The answer has to be, No. The one's to be Awarded should be the Players who "Play by the Rules" and rightfully so.
Pixonic asks for fair-play and if you are unwilling to do so, then you cannot fault Pixonic or Anyone for earning Awards that you will be unable to obtain through your behaviour. It is fair to the Players.
Furthermore, while in said, 'Queue you were able to generate several times the amount of Awards normally obtained through regular play. This gives no reason for Player to purchase Gold or earn Rewards. This cuts a potential revenue stream for Pixonic and harms them financially. "Tankers" and "Punch-outs" harm, Everyone. Pixonic solved two problems with one solution - Good for them!
Now, my question to the "Tanker" and "Punch-out" is, Why are you not interested in fair-play? Perhaps, if you voiced Why exploiting the system is in Everyone's best interest, you may influence their decision ..

How about removing the "leave battle" and "select another robot" all together ? When you hit the battle button you are commited for the duration ! And maybe the noctorious leavers can learn something in spectator mode.

I and half my clan are in LQ , not to farm, but because we like it better. None of us have maxed hangars and if we are earning more resources, it is only because you can squeeze in more matches in less time and the occasional 6 against 3 oddball matchup. I suspect as many as half the people in LQ are there because they enjoy it more. Also, once in LQ , you can perpetually stay there without "harming other players." In fact, you can get into LQ without harming other players. Just map skipping or leaving at the very beginning and being replaced or leaving when a loss is undeniable all seem to eventually land you there. That's how I got in the first two times. No imaginary social contracts broken.

Perhaps, if you voiced Why exploiting the system is in Everyone's best interest, you may influence their decision .. I willingly abandoned battles to lower my league score. With a level 6 hangar I was placed in silver and sometimes 95% of battles had to deal with lots of 10, 11 and 12 levels, making the game literaly unplayable for me. I lowered my league score to be able to play against levels 6, 7 or 8 and have a chance of enjoying the game. Never intended to win more gold or silver, just to be able to play. Now I'm stuck in LQ for the 25th day in a row. 25 days playing "straight" several hours per day, because all I want to do is to play nice battles. Nothing else. To answer your question, I'm in the LQ just because wanted fair battles.

It is what the vast majority of Players are dealing with. 6/6 is perfect for Silver, I'm Silver with 4/5. But you now understand how "Tankers" affect the Players. They are being stripped of their profits and will play fair, should this be implemented globally. I understand, you are victim of circumstance but bad behaviour does not justify the ends. You will get out of LQ, soon. Just get those Beacons and smash your enemies.

You don't care that I got into LQ by map skipping ten times in a row and never caused a loss, never abandoned anyone. You hate me and want to see me punished, probably locked out of the game. Why? I'm not sure. Some sort of anger transference. The match making sucks and subconsciously you know it but now it's suddenly "leavers and tankers" that are ruining the game, even though they have been cloistered. Next it will be "faders", then jokers and midnight tokers. Always another problem, always another solution. Meanwhile the base of skilled, dedicated players shrinks.

Your psychoanalysis is way off the mark. "Tanking" and "Punching-out" are the root of the problem. You are trying to justify your behaviour by blaming the MM system. Rather, it's the exploitation of system that is causing problems. It was stated by Pixonic what the parameters for LQ were. I'm sorry if you were inadvertently placed there, Pixonic was late with the information but you can escape. You are not bound there.

I completely agree that the rewards for LQ are out-of-hand and need to be changed. Being a player inside LQ, I am seeing an influx in clans coming in and dropping. And I am also really relieved that I will not be fighting Cossacks and Vityazs again. However, the thing that I would like to comment on is Pix's Idea of 'Removing or diminishing' the gold rewards. I tracked my gold rewards today, and during 30 minutes of complete War Robots gaming, I bagged 83 gold. And that is a little to much, especially when I ran into [WAR T] who tanked the match TWICE and one match was full of <level 30s. Decreasing them by 2/3 would probably be a very good idea, but if Pix decides to remove the rewards, then I really have no ability to obtain gold, other than paying real money, making this game blatantly Pay to Win in some circumstances. Wake up and smell the coffee if don't think war robots is PAY TO WIN GAME ... started w gepards ...now Lancelots ... clan that are top ranks such as CDXX have at least 2-3 Lancelots in their line up ..some clans pilots have all 5 ... in addition, balance hangers with all maps will make you a better pilot not knowing what you will be facing . best to request pixionics to have future custom match that allow pilots to bring only ONE of each bots to battlefield ...and compete for skills ...?? not wallets ...but this will probably never happen ! ?

Pixsucknc - again, i need to point out that the intent of the LQ was not to create an alternate game mode in War Robots. It was intended to separate the leavers from harming the experience of other players.
Just because you and others find it more enjoyable, does not legitize it as an alterative. And announcing that it is more fun than regular play continues to encourage others to try to enter and thus has an impact on the community. The only way to get in the LQ is to leave regular game play matches. Pilots are deliberatly tanking to get in. If Pix wants to make the LQ an optional form of play, then there would be an opportunity to choose that without interferring with the experience of other pilots. However, it is not there and Pix has not developed any other mode of play. They are working on it, they say, but it is not available at present.
therefore, since it was intended to be a jail and since you and others appear to enjoy the LQ and the game play it provides instead of the rewards it offers, removal/reduction of those rewards should not be a problem. The game play will still be there.

Divine ThunderThe problem is the LQ population pool is already comparatively small and if you remove the, let's say, 50% of people there purely for resources, each consecutive match is going to have the same 3 people on each team. So not only are you taking gold and silver away from people who genuinely enjoy the LQ experience, you are potentially ruining the experience altogether. In fact with pilots under level 15 gone and farmers gone, LQ might not even be feasible. It will literally be one on one matches or 2 minute waits for the match to begin. At a certain point it would make more sense to just get rid of LQ altogether and employ some other anti leaving mechanism. Even in the regular queueing in iOS you often run into the same players over and over. A sign I suspect that less upper league people are playing the game.

Hell I'm loving the MM lately... The matches seem to be taking longer to connect but I'm seeing more fair solo games than I have in weeks. Even squads have been decent... Hell Ive just about gotten used to playing against 11s and 12s in my 9s now and don't really stress the MM anymore... so when it gets to the point that it is now with people very similar to me... I am absolutely loving it. Seems like I am getting both Blues and Reds that have more of my level equipment and skills... and these are some of the most gratifying games in a long time. It was like this for a while before everyone and their buddy decided leavers Q was more fun.
See, what some of you seem to forget, is for every 1 person who does it... "fairly"( >:/ ), there are 9 people who don't care and ruin games. It was so bad at one point I couldn't have 1 game without at least 1 tanker. It's not a harmless exploit. There is no harmless exploit. An exploit will always affect those who play fairly in one way or another. Even if it is just lessening the pool of players in the "normal queue."
Tanking... fading... whatever it is called... serves absolutely no purpose for the game as a whole, which is built around the fight. The resources gained are not the goal. The fight is. When you are ruining that for others, no matter the reason... you degrade the game. Pixonic is doing right by us to make LQ a less attractive place. Now, they need to put a floor to the leagues so that you can't drop too low with higher weapons and incentivize the actual gameplay again (Ag rewards should have never been nerfed and the league point rewards system and the MM should not be connected. One's score should only affect their ranking, but their matches should be more focused on hangar, 1st, then skill, 2nd, within that hangar range) and things will start to play out like a game I want to play again.

Pixonic should take a ?firetruck?ing hint and realize that players enjoy the LQ much more than the regular queue. The regular queue is the one that needs to be removed/rewards-nerfed. Just completely randomize the MM and the game is fixed IMHO.

Blastronuat - yes, the LQ was created to separate the leavers from the regular play, but not to create an alternate reality of this game, as i have said. Regardless, of whether you saw it as a means to punish or regardless of whether Pix intended for it to be punishment, many of us do. And the fact that you have to complete so many matches without leaving to get back into the regular queue, leads us to believe that Pix endorses many of our opinions. And Pix response to many of us pointing out that instead of reducung the tanking, we are seeing an up-tick in it due to the reward potentional, they have decided to make it more penal.
My suggestion was there would be no gold regardless of win or lose, no event currency, and the only silver enough to cover repairs. And league points? Up to where your hanger loadout is most common.
As said before, the LQ is and was not intended to be a vacation or a gold mine. It was intended to change a practice harming this game.
It is many of you in the LQ who are trying to make it the stardard form of game play.
