If there's already a thread for Stalker bot haters, I didn't see it, so... Today while I was playing at work and trying to capture beacons in Springfield before my break was over, I destroyed a bot and the player re-spawned in a Stalker (at the Right Spawn) and met me at the (City) beacon I was turning blue. He ran circles around me for over one minute while the beacon was ~75% blue. By the time one of my teammates got to the beacon, the battle was over... we lost. I was too busy trying to shoot at it to take a screenshot of the little pest so I could memorize the username and chase the mofo in my Stalker if I ever see him/her again. This actually happens to me all the time... players in Stalkers running close to me in circles (I'm guessing this is in a game guide somewhere ), but it really pissed me off this time because I was in a hurry... and we probably could've won had I turned that beacon blue. In hindsight... what I should've done was jumped on a wall (I was in my Griffin) within the radius of the beacon and destroyed the Stalker, but like I said... I was in a hurry.

I hate Stalkers- in the hands of a skilled pilot- more than any other bot. And it's not close.

Stalkers are just annoyances like the Gareth.

I was so mad that I wanted to throw my phone across the street (I was playing outside), but I just bought this phone about two weeks ago (the day before I started playing War Robots). I was like this...

Stalkers are just annoyances like the Gareth. Agree, but they are essential. It's weird how I believe that player belongs in both the wall of fame and wall of shame threads. They did exactly what they were supposed to do... defended their beacon, but the player wasn't even shooting at me... just running around me in circles until their team won. Annoying yet so amazing.

I used to find Stalkers annoying. Then I found the perfect bot to total them. Thunder/Pinata Leo. Catch them in open. Let them activate their ability and hit you, but you know they're stranded once the cloack wears off. The splash of Pinata and lvl8 Thunders eat them. Helps if they can't circle around you. Move zig zag backwards, while turning the turret.
Well, it helps me in any case. Doubt you needed it since you killed it anyway.xd

I've destroyed Stalkers in my Leos, but my three Leos were already destroyed, so I was using my Griffin to capture beacons in the second half of the battle. Oh well, now I know to save a Leo until the end and use my Griffin third instead of fourth.

Stalkers are the mosquitoes of the War Robots food chain.
They can be extremely annoying but fun to smash. A good way to counter an Aphid Stalker is to go one-on-one in a Taran Rog. Every time they throw their swarm at you, you can jump out of the way, pelting away at them at the same time. A good way to get payback on a troll using frustration basically.

I drop it at first to take my time and anbush the fast beacon cappers, who would be lights. I prefer to drop faster bots later to engage asap for the final midlane push. Besides, Stalkers and other Lights except Gareth are dropped at first 1-2 bots of a player anyway.

I've been dropping my Stalker last. I'm not counting, but I think I've won at least two battles doing that.

The general consensus is that griffin is the best ag bot. It will stick with you all the way to top tier. A lot of people consider Leo to be free silver. A good way of getting million scores.

With all the encounters with Stalkers that I've had, I learned that weapons with high AoE are nearly essential. Usually, when they get to below 50% armour, the back off.
That's my experience ..

I hate stalkers as well, so they are the first robots I try to kill since there's no one of them. Orkan Rogatka works for me, and when she dies try to wipe them out with homming missiles. Trying to chase a stalker with a slow bot such as the Leo could be very frustrating...

Stalkers in lower tiers can be a real annoyance especially when piloted well-a rarity. Stalkers are actually terribly difficult to pilot and require good timing and situational awareness because they're so fragile. I have 2 of them, but I can't claim to be a very good stalker pilot but they're a good way to learn the 2 points mentioned above, which can then be applied when using other bots. When a stalker engages you, don't panic, save your ammunition, back against a wall to keep it from circling, when it de-cloaks, fire. They are especially susceptible to weapons with high splash--pinatas, orkans, tulumbas, etc. If you're in a grif, jump to get distance between you to get a better shot.

Well piloted Stalkers can be incredibly annoying.
Today on PP at one point I got swarmed by two Stalkers and a Cossack. I was like 'these are annoying but wimpy bots, I should be able to kill them all'.
Nope. I got the Cossack and left one Stalker with a sliver of health. I was in a plasma Gareth.

Well, right now... my level 6 Griffin sucks compared to my level 6 Leos. I've tried the recommended weapon setup for the Griff, but I can't stand waiting for missiles to reload.

Yes, at your level Leos will prove more useful; the Griff doesn't shine till it's around L8/9 with at least mags and tarans. They will be your staple in higher levels (at least for now) whereas Leos, as someone had suggested, are free silver esp for Galahads.

If I see a Stalker running around while I'm in my Stuka I try to close in on them without chasing. My goal is to wait until they're within jump range and their stealth is on cooldown. Then is just a jump and unload for some happy happy joy joy. They are mega pests when I'm in a Lance even if the particular pilot isn't good enough to drop a Lance solo.
